Tried some new soft shoes on Maisie's back feet tonight. Surprisingly she didn't walk as well as in the heavier, more solid soled shoe, tripping a few times. We will persevere though and see how we get on once she gets a bit more used to them. It doesn't help that it's snowy I suppose, but at least her feet were warm and dry!

Hi Ruth - we do have a spare single mattress that you can have for your very brave sleepover! If you like, we can keep hold of it for you until nearer the time so that it doesn't get damp? Just let me know if you still need it. X deb

Mars BAR IS LUCKY that you so wish to have him with you.You would both be welcome at training classes which are great fun and really help you develop a partnership with your dog.I have a rescue lurcher that looks like a baby grey and I have to say as a new dog owner the classes Julie run have really helped me to understand and look after Millie. my dog is still weary around some people and other dogs but totally loves going to training classes!

Had a nuts day at the kennels today with hardly any volunteers to help walk, a training session for Kelly with Julie and a vet visit so I didn't get chance - hopefully we are going on Friday fingers crossed x

Ratty's appetite has been not too good since being returned to the kennels. She is such a tiny thing and each night at locking up time she would start dithering.... not from cold - we think from worry of being left. I have brought her home with me tonight - she has scoffed a big bowl of food and is now fast asleep - bless xxxxx
