Yeuna has done her second successful home check tonight and was so relaxed that we had to drag her off the sofa to take her home! lol

Yeuna has been such a busy girl since we first took her home 'for the night' three weeks ago - she already has 3 roadshows and one home check under her collar! She was a good girl at Webbs today and has spent most of the afternoon sleeping - it's a dog's life! lol

She certainly knew how to work a crowd too! She was making sure she checked out everyone who wanted to meet her. She's just gorgeous and such a tiny tot. Mand x

Yeuna was a little diamond at Mell Square yesterday, met lots of people and lots of little children and was brilliant with them all! She had some photos taken again and some long hugs with people who said they'd take her now but.............
She especially enjoyed Mary's regular treats but really enjoyed the experience. All in all there seemed to be a lot of interest this time so hopefully some (or even most) of the greys will find their forever homes soon!

Yeuna will be at Mell Square tomorrow afternoon and available for hugs & snuggles! This little girl is a delight, a very quick learner, and has a lot of love to give!

i am staying with my friend cas who is fostering yeuna and she is a beautiful dog who would be an asset to any family i am totally in love with her

Yeuna went along with Annie to Melbick's today and did her first ever roadshow! Not sure, but think she might be the youngest to take part in one! She had lots of cuddles and some people took her photo! She did have a nibble at someone's bag of dog food, sniffed at lots of sausage rolls and attempted to eat someone's plant but all in all was very good lol. She's spent most of the afternoon sleeping - it's such hard work being busy! lol

It's a short step between fostering & homing but for the sake of Daire & Annie (in particular) we need to be sure that we're not going to upset the dynamics and for the sake of Yeuna we've got to make sure she's not at risk (no matter how much we love her) of a jealous Annie. So far so good - she's already done a home check with us, is doing a roadshow on Sunday and she won't be returned to the kennels unless Annie really does decide to impose herself. We've previously had friends dogs stay for a week and Annie has been fine, and we've camped with friends dogs & Annie has been ok but never for longer than a week. It would be lovely to say we're keeping her and all the signs are good, we just need to be sure :-)

A little update on Yeuna - what a clever little girl she is! Today is her 6th full day with us, she already knows that she gets her food after Daire & Annie, she loves her cuddly toys, we've only had 2 little accidents and they were on Tuesday morning, the first day she was left after coming home with us on Saturday evening. She has been totally clean in the house since then and will even wee on demand! She has settled in to Daire & Annie's routine remarkably well for such a newbie! The new name came because (1) Sooty rhymes with Annie & we thought it might confuse Annie lol (2) She didn't answer to Sooty but she does to Yeuna! (3) I think Sooty is more a boys name and she's too pretty to be a Sooty lol (4) her racing name Universal lent itself to a name like Eunice or Una hence Yeuna (a bit of both and I think a very pretty name for a very pretty girl!). Yeuna has settled well with Daire & Annie and is quite happy to bed hop with them (though Daire does look a little uncomfortable in Yeuna's smaller bed!) when they decide they're going to use her bed instead of their own! I still can't understand why she was brought back to the kennels - she's an angel!

Sooty is having the time of her life! She came back from her foster home yesterday as she kept having accidents but landed on her feet when Daire and Annie's owners walked through the gate!!!! She is being fostered at the moment so please keep your fingers crossed as it seems she is being an absolute angel - and - erm - even has a new name already! :-)))) The new photo is of her on a walk this morning x

Just an update to say that Sooty is doing well in her new palace. She has a little anxiety when left alone, but Leo seems to sort her out and she soon falls asleep on her duvet!
She has been clean all day and is VERY loving. A truly beatiful grey! Fingers crossed she stays as wonderful over the next few days!

Gorgeous little Sooty was brought back to our house this evening by her very sad owners.... however, she has just left to go straight out to a lovely new foster home.... watch this space and keep your fingers crossed as this may become permanent if all goes well :-)))))

Very sorry to hear Sooty's new home didn't work out this time. It is a big responsibility taking on a dog of any kind. I am sure it won't be long before the perfect home comes along for this little girl. She deserves the best. xxx

I have had a telephone call this morning from Sooty's owners. She has been great with the cats, clean in the house and slept well last night but sadly they are overwhelmed about having a dog and therefore have decided to return her. She will be coming back to my house until we can find her a home......

Just to say the photo of Sooty was taken at our house last night before she went off to her new home today. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all works out for her as she has been amazing with the cats on her tests but just has to get on with the cats in her new home.... big hugs - am missing you already xxx

This baby waited for 5 months in Ireland for a home yet she is reserved in half a day at Daybreaks best news ever. Didn't think she would be around for long shame it is difficult to re home in her land of origin but great for her and her new family.

Having met this little one today all I can say is GORGEOUS no need to say anything else!

I have had the call from Irish Transport to confirm she will be arriving at Corley Services early tomorrow morning where we will collect her. We are told she is not good travelling so I hope she is ok - can't wait to see her xxxx With our open day tomorrow we will be using some of the money towards her transport :-)
