It took a good hour of determination & treats lots of treats to get Bonnie to sit she does it great now without the treats and when we go for our daily walks she sits sometimes when I stop ! So persevere and keep up with it he'll get it !
We're going to Sally's training session on Tuesday as there is none Monday be good to see how Bonnie will be with the other breeds of dogs ,but all in all she has really settled in well and enjoying family life.We are so glad we hooked up with daybreaks and thanks Ruth & Jill for all your help finding our gorgeous Grey !

daughter must have been mistaken, we live in Tamworth! I have tried to get Buddy to sit but he won't. He is good at his "stays" though.

I sat next to you at training last night with my daughter and Buddy. We were really impressed with the "sit". You have made me more keen to get Buddy to do the same! My daughter also is sure she saw you on her way to school this morning, so we may live near each other.

Just a catch up about our gorgeous Bonnie ! Well she's doing really well Nathan and Harriet absolutely adore her,she settles down well at night and is enjoying 2 nice walks a day. Unfortunately Bonnie was in the dog house yesterday by pinching the beef joint from the kitchen counter but we can't really blame her as we turned our back on her while we were unpacking the shopping one minute it was on the counter the next it was being slobbered on her bed ! Bit annoying but we have to keep our eye on her still definately be asking Sally for more tips especially on the snatch and grab raids Bonnie has been at of late !
We love her to bits and were really persevering with the training and will Definately be keeping an eye on any food !

Great to hear Bonnie is doing well now. I took my Greyhound to Sally's training class, it really helped both of us! xxx

Bonnie has settled in really well we (crossed fingers) hope we've cracked the separation barks and whimpering at night and when we pop out !
We went to racing tails training with Sally last night and we really learnt a lot and it was great to know how to do things the right way, so that's going to be a regular Monday night thing ! But all in all I think she really likes her new home and I'm enjoying all the walks with her so were both getting good excersise just what the dr ordered!

Bonnies had a really good day today, a couple of walks and a mad half hour with her toys throwing them in the air and catching them.
She's been really loving and she rolled over for me to tickle her belly,
Unfortunately she still gets a bit vocal when she's left on her own in the utility at bedtime and when we pop out,so today we've been trying popping out for a little then going back after 10-15 min.
So if anyone has an idea for us to try we would really appreciate it!

Well Bonnie seems to be settling in well with family life,we did have a bit of upset from her when we went to bed but she settled down after a bit but that's to be expected coming into a new environment. But all in all she's doing really well and is a very loving girl to us all !

What brilliant news. Met this lovely girl on Monday and she was so lovely and friendly. So pleased she has found a new home.

Little man decided yesterday that he wants to change Bernies name to Bonnie, because as he said bernie sounds like a boys name and she's a girl !!
Well we've finally got Bonnie home showed her round the house and garden,and where her bed is Nathan has bought her a toy monkey and a squeaky rugby ball .
We've just come back from a nice walk over the park and now Bonnie is fast asleep on the front room rug looking very chilled out .

Bernie is back at the kennels through no fault of her own. She is great with children, clean and dry through the night and great in the house and great on her lead. Sadly the owner feels it is not the right time to have a dog and we support the family with their decision as it is a hard thing for the family to do.

Bernie has settled in really well in her new home! She slept in the utility room last night...no problems...very happy to see us this morning.She kept catching her reflection in the patio doors last night...so quite vocal ( not bearing her teeth like she did with stanley!] Shes been to the park this morning and is lying on the lounge floor with her new teddy...x

Who is going to keep the big boy Stanley in check now that cheeky Bernie has a home of her own. Saw her with Stanley today and she certainly let him know she was in charge!

We have just got Bernie home following her spey.... she is very sleepy so we have settled her into a crate where she has laid down straight away.... it's good to have her 'home' again :-)

I brought Bernie home with me last night as she is being speyed today at Fivelands. She is the sweetest girl and has had a quiet settled night and has been clean in the house. She has managed to run to the top of the stairs but hasn't figured out how to come down yet!!!!

Bernie is a very sweet little girl. She is very pretty and also quite small.
