Ade is back at the kennels after staying with Caroline, Max and Gracie for a while. Ade fell head over heels in love with Gracie during his stay, followed her everywhere! He would make the perfect boyfriend...so if you have a lonely little girl looking for a cute boy with a wonderful personality please being her to meet our handsome Ade! Xxx

Being pre-occupied with Pumpkin i have kinda lost track of the other DB dogs. So was amazed how many have been reserved & rehomed this last week or two!!! Good luck & best wishes to the adoptees & their new owners - fingers crossed for the boys & girls who are reserved - and great to see Ade getting a much deserved taste of home life!! letd all hope things keep going in the right direction! So glad Ade is fostered and getting to know the world. With three failed fosters of my own this year (failed as in I have kept them forever) plus my 2 other greys and my baby whippet I couldn't foster Ade aswell!! Its almost a year since he finished racing and so sad he hasn't got his forever home yet. They said at his racing kennel that he loved to sit and watch what was going on and so no surprise that he likes window shopping. Fingers crossed he gets to have Christmas in his forever home. Sending you cuddles Ade. X

just got to share this with you, it says it all what a fantastic character Ade is . Ade went window shopping last night, we had to stop at every shop and study what was in the window with great curiosity moving his head from side to side, loved the lights and moving objects, when we got to the shop with Farther Christmas in, he just sat down and cried jumping up now and again to have a better look, i wish i had a camera his face was a picture, looked so happy, he is such a fantastic lad so full of character, i am so jealous of the lucky family that gives him a home. :) :) xx

Having had the pleasure of being with Ade at 3 Pets at Home awareness
events and also on our Stratford Walk I am so pleased that he is proving
such a wonderful guest while being fostered at Carolines.
He loves meeting people, being with other greys and is now becoming accustomed to other breeds.
Now that he has proved such a perfect house guest it surely cannot be too long before he is offered his permanent home.
He is certainly going to make some lucky family a fantastic companion.

Ade has been with me couple of days now, what peolpe have said in the past about him is all true, im finding it really hard to put anything that hasnt been said before. He has settled very well with Max and Gracie, no accidents in the house, he's very funny , loving ,dont know why he hasnt found his forver home, such a handsome, loveing boy, full of character. will fill a space in any home with love, freindship and laughter. please contact Ruth if you would like to meet him :) xx

Ade is a very fun loving boy, loves to play with his toys. He will be staying with us and we really hope to find him a home. He really loves to play Gracie and Ade are really having loads of fun playing . He Is a very lovable boy, really would make someone a lovely companion .

Hello Ade

I have given you my cuddle today, as I can see that you haven't found a lovely home just yet. I am sure that you will find a home soon as there are sometimes lovely dogs like you that are just waiting a bit longer than others. Just to reassure you that our James who is now 9 was at the kennels for six months before we went along looking for a buddy for our Rose. We are so happy that we adopted him and you can see that you will be worth the wait.

We met this fantastic looking dog today. He is long and lean and just so handsome. He is confident and friendly and his fur is so shiny! I really hope someone feels the same as us and gives him a home very soon. x

Ade has been out and about again today helping Pets at Home, Sheldon with their charity event for Adoption for Pets. He loved meeting all the stores customers and soaking up all the fuss that he received. Also as on Sunday at the Stratford Walk he managed to pro ve once again that he is the World Leaning Champion!!

We met Ade today on the Stratford walk. He seems lovely, so affectionate and fine with all dogs. Hope it's not too long before he finds a home. Love Archie and Floyd xx

Ade had a lovely walk today in Sunny Stratford with 31 other canine friends. He showed no strong negative reaction to any breed of dog.While on the walk he passed quite small breeds and although slightly curious there was again no noisy negtive reaction.
I am sure that once in a home he will have no problems w hile walking on the lead with any breeds whatsoever.
He is extemely affectionate and loves nothing more than a good lean!
He is going to make someone a wonderful companion.

I am so pleased that Ade had a lovely time over the weekend, and has shown what a good boy he will be when his own forever home comes along. Good luck handsome boy. xx

We were privileged to have Ade stay with us this weekend. He is full of character, loves playing with toys and provided a great companion to Queenie. He was absolutely fascinated with the microwave and the washing machine! He takes treats and snacks very gently. He showed some signs of nervousness but let us know when he needed to go out and was overall an examplemary houseguest. He is great with other greys, particularly Queenie who has looked very down in the mouth since we took him back, but inquisitive around other dogs - especially small ones! It was with a heavy heart we took him back to Daybreaks after the show. If finances were in a better place he would be snuggling up with Queenie on a permanent basis. He will make a brilliant pet to a lucky family. Good luck mate,

Ade is an affectionate boy who does get very excited when he comes out of his kennel and can be quite strong - but he soon settles down and is a lovely boy who enjoys a bit of fuss.

I do hope Ade catches someones eye. He loved to sit and watch the world go by in the kennels. He has been out in Sutton Park and wasn't worried by other dogs at all. He does get excited at the thought of a walk - hence his fizzy lemon Ade name!! but he soon calms down. Good Luck with your forever home Lemon.
