Jaylo is very happy and affectionate. She loves people rather than other dogs and tends to be bossy with them! She is good with children and getting better with cats. Would make a good companion for walks etc.

Jaylo has had 0 cuddles today (7 all together).
If you register or login, you can give her a cuddle too!

So very sorry you’ve had to say goodbye to your lovely Jaylo. What a fantastic age she reached and what a wonderful retirement. I’m sure she will be very much missed as reading back through the comments she was a larger than life character in her younger days. Go and run free Jaylo with all our old friends who have gone before you to rainbow bridge. I’m sure our Lola will say hi if you bump into her xx

Jaylos age finally caught up with her. Her back legs gave and she couldn't get back up. After telling her what a wonderful girl she is we let her go to rainbow Bridge. She truly loved her retirement and we shall miss her so much. RIP Jaylo.

I am sure someone forgot to tell Jaylo that you slow down as you get older. She jumps about and plays like an overgrown puppy especially just before walks and food time. She has been part of our family for four years in October. She loves attention off anyone. At bedtime she goes outside and then dances about until I let her in. Then she goes upstairs and snuggles into her bed. You can almost hear the contented sigh.

She has a mind of her own and you could find yourself being pulled off the path to the nearest interesting smell or trying to get her to move because she has decided that she does not want to go in that direction. The only time she makes a sound is when she is dreaming.

We went to the show yesterday and had a great time. We entered Jaylo in the 6-7 year old class. She was not placed because the judge couldn't believe that she was 6. The judge thought that she acted more like a 2 year old.
To prove the point Jaylo came home and the bounded about playing with her new toy before she had her well earned nap.

Although she is six she behaves like a puppy. When she goes for a walk she skips along or does tiny bounces, almost like she has tiny springs on the bottom of her paws. When you get her ready for a walk or give her a cuddle she 'purrs'.
She is not a smiler but when she shakes herself her tongue sticks out the side of her mouth and she will walk around like that for some time.

Happy Birthday Jaylo. Hip Hip Horaay!

Thank you Linda, Paul, Lola & Lena,
Owain wasn't so keen to cuddle them both last night when we came home to find they had eaten his homework & pencil case ! They are like a naughty double act at the moment.
If we don't see you before I look forward to seeing you at the Perry Barr RGT open day on the 16th with your 'brace'- bring on the challenge for the rosettes ! LOL

Hi. It wasn't until I opened up the picture fully that I reaslised who'd got Jaylo. I'm pleased for you all that things have worked out. Expect we'll bump into you in Brueton Park at some point and fingers crossed we'll have 2 with us as well. No need any more to borrow Lola for the brace competitions either as you have your own lovely matching pair now!! Love from Linda, Paul, Lola & Lena x

Glynn didnt work out for us but we now have Jaylo who has slotted in perfectly. Fay gets on really well with her and is more settled. In fact I think Jaylo is helping Fay get more confident.

Jay has settled in well. At first we struggled to know which one was which but now it is easier. Fay is bigger and lighter in colour and Jay has beautiful deep brown eyes. We look forward to enjoying their company for the rest of their retirements.

Thank you to Ruth and all the team for your help and support.

Jaylo is being returned as soon as we have space at the kennels as her owner is unable to keep her.
