What a star Peanut is - he came along to the Awareness Day at Pets Corner at Stratford and seemed to take everything in his stride, didn't seem interested in small dogs, took cuddles from children and generally was relaxed all day. Would recommed this Handsome chap to anyone who is looking for their 1st Grey.

Peanut accompanied us to the Stratford Awareness at Pet's Corner today. I could 'wax lyrical' about his personality and behaviour. But as I have said it all before I'll condense it to one word - BRILLIANT. Love you Peanut. X

I'm sure Peanut isn't a greyhound! The way he prances whilst walking makes me think he may be a dressage horse! Adorable.

Thank you Jess for the lovely close-up of Peanut's sandy brown eyebrow. He has the lovliest face. If I didn't have 3 at home and another just retired from Perry Barr and coming home soon, I would've been so tempted... Who am I kidding, I get tempted by every Grey! Miss you Peanut x

Had a big snuggle with Peanut this afternoon and what a gentle, handsome lad he is. On checking family trees, looks like this little fella is half brother to our Rosie Po! Some lucky family will have a wonderful addition to their home. Thank you for the cuddles Peanut. Tash x

Brian and I had the honour of taking lovely Peanut on his 'maiden voyage' to Brueton Park today. On arrival he was naturally rather nervous and excited at all the new sights and sounds. On this glorious April day I swear the entire dog-owning population of Solihull was visiting the park, so this boy had lots to take in. There were a various assortment of breeds and sizes; walking, running and bathing, many off-lead. Peanut didn't know where to look first and did one or two little jumps, but not once did he pull on the lead and settled well during the short time we were there. Considering this was his first visit to the wide world he behaved beautifully, walked nicely on the lead and adjusted well to the many breeds (interacting positively with some) by the time we left the park. We felt very proud of him. He and Isla drew much attention, many people wanting to know more about greyhounds, which was nice. This boy is beautiful. I had the chance the sit with him in his kennel yesterday; he is so affectionate - lying on his back to have his tummy stroked and nuzzling for attention. I can't say enough lovely things about him. He will make a wonderful, loyal companion. Thank you for coming out with us today, Peanut. Lots of love. xxxxx

Peanut, you were busy snoozing when I arrived at the kennels today, so didn't want to disturb you. But my heart skipped a beat when I saw you. Gorgeous! Looking forward to saying 'hello' next time. Xxx

What a lovely quiet, unasuming boy Peanut is! I had the pleasure of grooming and massaging him at the racing kennels and he is a favourite amongst all the owners. He's got the loveliest face and if you look close his soft eyebrows are brown. Peanut was the pet name given to him by his owner and he knows his name. I think I speak for everyone in wishing him a wonderful retirement and the very best of forever sofas! Love you Peanut x
