How is Jenny getting on? I met her at the Stratford awareness day two weeks ago and she is a lovely girl hope she is on the road to recovery.

Sending my love to Jenny and her new owners, how terrible for everyone !! we had only had Bertie a very short time when he had to have one of his toes amputated, when the vet said the word amputate I was absolutely horrified I would rather have had my toe or even foot off rather than Berties !! so I cannot imagine how you must all feel :( if its any consolation my moms greyhound Flossie broke her hock, ( before mom had her ) but she has fully recovered and runs around like a complete loon, has more stamina than my two put together and never has ( touch wood ) any problems at all !

Poor Jenny and her poor owners who no doubt will be feeling terrible. Not knowing details of the break etc, but having been though something which may be similar with Norris on foster, we just followed the vets post-op & rehab instructions to the letter during the time he was with us. His hock healed so fantastically well you can hardly tell now, so here's hoping Jenny's leg will heal just as well. Petplan are just fantastic too

Eeek! I sadly had the news that poor Jenny broke her leg and had to undergo emergency treatment at the weekend.

The family would like to say 'a big thank you to Rachael at The Ark Vets in Stratford' for what they considered to be above & beyond the call of duty in the way that she dealt with Jenny on Sunday. 'Also thanks to Andrew at WMR for his Sunday late night counselling & help'.

All I can say is thank goodness for Petplan!!!!

Jenny's profile picture is just typical of this pretty girl - she has spent most of this morning in this pose, with her handsome kennel mate Satin similarly chilled out on the bed! They are such a lovely couple, so friendly and delightful together. xx

The perfectly named 'Pretty Jenna' came with her handsome kennel mate, Satin,to the Stratford Roadshow today. This girl is gorgeous - pretty, friendly, curious and so loving. She is also very good and attentive on the lead. She definitely loves the company of her greyhound friends and although she was naturally curious of other breeds she had never seen before, by the end of the day she was hardly giving them a second look - good girl. She and Satin drew much attention from the public and she certainly promoted herself with all the cuddles she gave. On the way home she relaxed in the back of the car and was so chilled on arrival at the kennels, we had to wait a good few minutes until she decided to jump out. Jenny, you are truly scrumptious. xxxxx
