Happy 4th Birthday to our big fella! Henry has certainly grow up a lot in the few weeks that he has been with us. Still not too keen on yappy little dogs, but is responding very well to his training and making us smile everyday with his cheeky antics (including finding him in bed with Katie one morning!)
He will get even more fuss and love today, with a few extra treats!

Holes in our garden are easily filled !! it was lovely to see Henry so happy with his new sister, and family !! looking forward to seeing you on Sunday :)

Henry is doing well with many aspects of home life, Recall is good, walking on the harness is good, seems happy with Katie, even running in to see how she was after she yelped! We still have work to do with attitude towards small dogs and chewing things which are not his, today it was a CD, a bottle of water,one model bus & can of lemonade! The training we had with Tony Knight is showing results with both our hounds, although Katie is reluctant to abdicate from her throne! Henry and Katie will be at the BBQ on Sunday, hopefully this visit won't result in Henry digging up Michelle's garden! xx

How is henry settling in? I hope he's getting used to the retired lifestyle :)

Well after two weeks of emotional upheaval, we have decided that this big affectionate boy will have to spend his retirement with us! Katie has warmed to his boyish charms and even allows him to play with her toys. He has learnt lots in the short time with us so far, including picking apples off the tree, raspberry's out of the bush, gutting the dog shaped door stop, rearranging Karen's diary and making fake snow with a box of tissues! We will signing for him tomorrow, so he will now keep his new name of Henry Morgan!

I'm glad paddy / Henry is doing well I met him at kennels and the show and he was such a lovely boy but I don't have to tell you that and thought how a like Minnie and Henry looked even having the same bold bum Having looked at his family tree it turns out his dad is full brother to Minnie's dad looks like there cousins hoping you have a wonderful life and settle well With your training Henry from Us all here in the Minnie and ted household xx

Paddy (Currently being called Henry), is actually on trial with us at the moment. He has taken quite quickly to home life with only a couple of wee's in the kitchen and 10 minuets of crying at bedtime on the first night. He is very affectionate and loves to be fussed, cuddled and really enjoys leaping around the lawn whilst nibbling my elbows!He does need a very firm hand when meeting a non-grey dog, i think that its the only thing that will require lots of training / exposure!
So far so good! And with Katie not looking so grumpy, i'm hoping that he will be staying! xx

My gigantic Paddy! You are such a gentle giant. You were a bit unsure to start with but now you are such a happy boy. You get really excited when I come to get you for a walk, so much so you jump up me and give me lots of kisses! After our walk I sit in your kennel and you have your mad 5 minutes and then you nibble my hair for a bit xx
