Do hope all continues to go well with Lady. Lovely to hear the children have fallen in love with her, hope the cat does too! She really is such a cute and friendly little girl. Xxx

Lady came home to us today, and we are so excited to have her. She has met the children, who are besotted with her already, met our cat (showed mild curiosity but far too many other things to see at the moment to be more interested), been for a walk (good as gold, but not too keen on big boisterous dogs, hiding behind one of us), and now crashed at the bottom of the stairs!

This little girl was an absolute star! At Melbicks she met little dogs and was fine, she was on her back having lots of belly rubs by everyone xx

Lady came with us to Melbicks today to help with the Awareness Event. Such a calm and friendly girl, great on the lead, non-reactive to other breeds and also very beautiful - perfect, in fact. Towards the end of the event she was called back to the kennels for a viewing and, not surprisingly, was reserved within the hour! This lovely girl is going to make a wonderful family member in her new home. Good luck Lady. xxx

It's great to see the steady flow of new intakes coming into Daybreaks recently!!! This means the waiting list is constantly moving. Great news for everyone concerned...
especially the dogs on the list!!! l know it's a big worry that trainers may become impatient and take their dogs off the waiting list when it slows down...that's something none of us want to see, because every dog that retires deserves that chance of a loving home. Ruth, Kate, Sarah and all the volunteers at kennels do an incredible job...as do all the fund raisers and foster parents. lt's a fantastic set up at DB ...and the dedication, determination and commitment shown by everyone concerned is just incredible!!!! We are going through a fantastic period at the moment and hopefully it will continue...because these beautiful dogs need us. A massive pat on the back for everyone...
you really are Guardian Angels. XXX

Lady has settled really well and is being good as gold. We have been away with her for the weekend to a family reunion, where she met lots of new people, including some boisterous toddlers and another dog dog which she took in her stride. Everyone commented about how good she was.
We have finally found her stubborn side this morning when I tried to walk her in the rain!!! That is obviously never going to happen......we didn't get more than 100m down the road before she stopped dead and wouldn't move, looking back at the house.
