Well it's Charlie my gorgeous boys 5th Gotcha Day!
He's had a very rough year as some of you know, but at the moment everything is going well, so we are enjoying and making the most of every minute with him.
He's got a bit more grey fur, but hes still my handsome loving sweet daft boy.
5 years on and it still feels like Christmas morning every morning I come downstairs to him.
He is so so loved xxx

It is 4 years today since we were lucky enough to have adopted Charlie.
On adoption day Kate took his collar off and said " you don't need that now Charlie you're not a kennel dog anymore "
So tomorrow is another milestone because he has been a pet longer than he was a kennel dog.
I wish everyone could know the absolute joy loving one of hounds brings, adopting one changes lives - theirs, yours and all your family and friends.
We love you so much Charlie, you handsome, sweet, loving, daft, AMAZING boy xxx

Well my gorgeous big boy is 8 today!
He's still making us laugh every day.
He's the biggest cuddle monster and so much fun.
He just makes every day a joy.

Charlie came and gave blood today.
He was such a brilliant brave boy!
Just wanted to say, if anyone is feeling hesitant about donating there's no need. The blood bank staff were all so kind and gentle with him, and totally focused on his wellbeing.
He's currently lying on his back, legs everywhere....so completely normal...and now a lifesaver! :)

It was Charlie's Gotcha Day yesterday. One year, where did that go? He's the most loving, happy, clever, confident boy. We've just come back from a little break in Whitby which is the most dog friendly place I've ever been to! As usual my gorgeous boy turned lots of heads and got loads of fuss from strangers.
He makes us laugh and happy every day and is so, so loved by all of us, especially his nan and grandad!
So thank you for letting us have him and thank you Rachies for loving him first xxx

I can imagine how happy Rachies and her Mum and Dad are for 'Tiny Tim' as he was affectionately known as in the racing kennels, he was adored and it sounds like he's going to be loved equally as much in his new home! So Rubysmum, as you asked Rachies what he likes... Will you be treating him to the odd pigs head? Lol. For the shorter time I've known him, there's nothing that he doesn't like! He's a big, happy loveable hound Xx

Hi rubysmum, thank you for contacting me. Yes he was very well looked after and he is absolutely adorable. He is very lovable and loves to literally jump up and cuddle you. We used to buy him a pigs head and he are every bit even the teeth so as u can tell he loves his food! Please keep me updated on his progress as we are all going to miss him so much! Good luck and give him a cuddle from me. Wishing you lots of happiness together xxx

Woo hoo, what a beautiful, sorry, handsome black and white chap Timmy is. All the black and white ones seem to give lots of kisses and hugs. My Delphy literally puts her paws around me for a cuddle!! Good luck Timmy, sounds like you have landed on your paws!! xxxx

so excited, he looks amazing ,he's obviously been really well looked after and very loved!

He's half-brother to our lovely white and black girl who died in June and he looks so much like her.

Ohhh timmy we are going to miss you at the kennels! This lad is a such a lovely and playful soul. We have had years of happiness with him and he has so much to give. He is so loving and was always known as the 'gentle giant' at his racing kennels. If we were not committed to so many greys he would have been coming home with us. Whoever decides timmy is for them is a very lucky family. We will miss you boy and wish you all the luck and love in the world! Xxx

This big, handsome fella arrived yesterday afternoon - and what a gorgeous boy he is too. He very much enjoyed his lunchtime treat and his dinner - welcome Timmy, you're a cutie. x
