Happy Christmas to all my doggy friends! Major still makes us laugh everyday. He is so affectionate and loving. We where a little worried about the Christmas Tree as we thought he might think YEEEEH and indoor toilet, no more going out in the cold! No not Major, he's not been at all bothered.......thats because he has a new friend, he's a special friend that we have named Wilbur Window! Yes folks Major has discovered his reflection! In our house its like the John Lewis advert with Greys! Blitz of course thinks he has lost the plot but even better thats more room for her on the bed while Major is doing River Dance at night. Eventually Wilbur gets tired and has to have a nap and so does Major! I love this baldy, crazy loveable chap so much. Hi everyone, Major still continues to make us laugh. He's not been very well in the past few days, but of an upset tummy but a trip to the vets has sorted him out.he's back to his usual potty self today and even decided that after mini portions of food the dining table looked extra scrummy so he ate it! When Steve told him off he thought it was a game and chased him round the house! It's impossible not to love him the honest, greedy, waggy tailed monster xxx

Hi everyone....just a quick update on our lovely boy. My goodness he's such a huge part of our family in less than a month. We've all fallen for him in so many ways. He is every ones friend, I found him last night fast asleep on Harv. I can't believe how lucky we are, he never stops making us laugh, he's really quite naughty but with that face it's really hard to tell him off. He gives us unconditional love and we just love him for the funny slightly baldy hound he is, our home is his home and that's all that matters xxxx

Hi everyone, what a great time Major is having. So far he's discovered children trick or treating are fab! especially the little ones who really don't mind a big wet nose in their sweetie buckets or their faces. It was an exhausting night as Harv had a sleep over of which Major thought he'd best protect them by sleeping between them. Everyday he shows us something new, today he came into the lounge with his bowl in his mouth ... Think breakfast was a bit late! So happy to he found us every days a new adventure..... Long May it continue xxxxx

So it's Christmas in our house tonight, We're now official! And a new coat to match Blitz! so happy and can't thank Kate enough. As a family we've become greyhound obsessed, Steve has taken a shine to Sooty but I think we'd have to move house or build an extension! I can't wait for lots of walks and fun with my now terrible twosome! Xxxxxxxx

So here we are on the eve of our great adventure! Tomorrow is our big day......yeeeeeeeees Major will be a permanent member of our family! Thank you so much everyone for the lovely comments. I'm so excited it's like it's Christmas Eve. Major has become such a huge part of our lives he's such a special boy it felt like we were just mean't to be together xxx

Ah thank you, he's a star. He has such a funny personality. He loves food, I think he would eat until he burst if we let him. His coat is coming back slowly I think it's because I'm brushing him daily. He's always so happy to see you and I think he's made Blitz more personable. Not one person that has met him so far hasn't fallen for him. We'll be coming to Daybreaks next week to make him an official member of our family ..... No more taking a grey to the show next year for me, I am definitely a failed fostered! I don't think I've ever been happier xxxxx

The lovely Major still continues to make us laugh. Could it be his snoring, dreaming or the fact that he is complete pleasure to have around? He's had a great day today investigating plumbers tools, sticking his nose in emulsion and running round with the newspaper! We're seeing a whole new side of him, he certainly keeps us entertained but never fails to make us smile. The best thing about coming home is to be greeted by Blitz and Major who almost burst with excitement.........I feel truly blessed xxx

Majors had a great day today meeting family and friends. He's such a star and everyone wants to meet him. We're taking him on short walks to help with his leg but he's really happy. It feels like he's been with us forever can't believe that this time last week I had a sleepless night hoping that no one would want to give him a new home after the show. It was the best day I've had in a long time, meeting lovely people, patting lots if lovely greys and most of all finding the truly wonderful Major xxxxxx

Ah Major, this sounds like brilliant news to me! I think you knew a thing or two though - when Jayne brought you back to the kennels after the show on Sunday we chatted for a bit and then when she went to leave your face was an absolute picture - you watched them all go out of the gate with an expression that said "Hey, you've forgotten me"!!!! Turns out you were right - delighted for you my lovely boy. xxxxx

Xxx I really tried to not get attached, that lasted until I put him in the car on Sunday to take him to the show..little did I know then that Sunday would be a sleepless night and Monday morning couldn't come quickly enough. He is FAB...just a bit worried about his limp but I'm hoping lots of TLC will help xx

Hi everyone, another update about the wonderful Major....he sleeps like a baby, he's clean in the house and let's you know when he needs to go out. He sits by the bathroom door when my sons in the shower and watches him do his homework. He saw his first cat today and bounced on the spot like a kangaroo! But didn't bark or show any aggression, I think he was a bit baffled by the fluffy bundle that didn't move. Even Princess Blitz thinks he's wonderful, they swop beds and play very calmly. He's a keeper I think.....sorry Ruth I think that Major might have found his forever home! :-) xx

So here we go.....The lovely Major has settled really well. He was a little stressed on his first night but when he realised it was time for bed I think the quilt won! Last night his second night with us he slept like a baby, in fact we had all got up and he was still asleep, along with Princess Blitz who never gets up before 8! I am going to leave them both for 10 mins to see how he copes, fingers crossed he will be ok x

Hello everyone, as I type Major is asleep with his legs in the air.....so I guess you could say he's happy. We collected him today, thank you to Kate for all her advice. So far he's discovered Steves cup of tea, candles might be lickable and squeaky toys are his best friends. He's eaten dinner and had three walks so far, he's a but stiff when he gets up but I think that's possibly an old injury. Let's hope he sleeps tonight x

Has Jane fostered him? She was pretty smitten at the show yesterday xx
