Belle's Blog:
Well it's been 10 days now since I went to my forever home, and so far, so good.
I started off having to sleep in a crate at night but it didn't take long for me to convince them I was a big girl and could be trusted to sleep downstairs and have the choice of my bed or their sofa!
I have met lots of nice people, who all say I'm lovely and adorable, & that seems to go down well with my mum's!!
Although I haven't got many teeth, I have tried lots of new foods, & so far I like the Weetabix breakfast the best!
So glad to hear that my old house mate Charlie may have found his own forever home, but what about Paddy?!
He can't still be there.....

Well, it's 24 hours since we bought Belle home with us, she has met some of the family with vigorous enthusiasm, especially that wagging tail!
Remember the bed we bought for her...? Well the settee is far more appealing so looks like it's one settee for Belle, and one for us!!
Will keep you posted with another update next weekend, but so far, so good.
She really is 'a beautiful belle' xx

We walked our beautiful Belle today, still a bit groggy after her dental work, but who wouldn't be..?! Can't wait to bring her home for good next Saturday. Loved the fact that she likes peanut butter sandwiches, breakfasts and picnics are going to be easy!! She truly is a beautiful lady xx

Gorgeous Belle went in for her dental yesterday. She is slowly becoming a gummy bear :-( On arrival at ours last night she crashed out on the bed in the middle of the room. She has been totally clean and has had a wonderfully settled night and was wagging her tail lots this morning. She is gorgeous!

We had the pleasure of taking the beautiful Belle with us to the Fun Day & Dog Show. She is a very affectionate girl who loves lots of fuss and attention. We got her all ready with a "i need a home jacket" thinking that somebody may notice her need for a forever sofa, and to our amazement we were tracked down at the event by two lovely ladies who reserved Belle on the spot! Having chatted to Belle prospective new family we know she will get the love she needs for a happy retirement. Good luck Belle xxx

Beautiful Belle joined us yesterday at the Swan Centre to help with the awareness, and proved to be a real star. A little nervous at first, she blossomed during the day and was happily 'meeting and greeting' the public within a very short time; her tail didn't stop wagging. This little girl is adorable - friendly and affectionate, not only with humans but with her greyhound friends too. She certainly took a shine to Paddy and made sure she was near to him for most of the day. Whoever homes this gorgeous girl will have a gentle, loving companion, and after having pups as well as racing she is surely ready for a loving home of her own. Belle, you are a pleasure to be with. xxx

Must pop in to say hello and have a peek at this girlie. Moveit Honcho is a half sister on her dad's side to our Lola and I hope she has the same sweet temperament. Because I'm interested in these lovely Honcho girls, I also notice that one of Belle's babies was rehomed through Daybreaks not long ago.....Ginny (Heathmill Ginger). x
