Buddy is with me at the moment. He's such a lovely boy and a pleasure to have staying with me. He's a perfect guest. Your going to have a lovely boy . Buddy is so easy to have around. He sleeps all night loves his food clean in the house and loves short walks. Xxx

Buddy was brought back this afternoon by his owners son. He told me sadly his Father had passed away earlier this morning. Xxx Although a little wobbly on his back legs Buddy looks great and has obviously been looked after and very much loved by his owners. I heard all about him and his life with them. Unfortunately as much as his owners family would have liked to have been able to keep him they have cats and Buddy isn't cat friendly. :( He came back with his lovely big bed and his favourite spider man blanket. :) Xx Later on this afternoon Ruth and Andy came to pick him up to go and stay with them. Sending our condolences to Buddy's family, very sorry for your loss. Xxx

Heartbroken for this boy and his previous owner, poor lad must be so confused to find himself back in kennels, and he must be so missing his owner, I really hope somebody finds it in their hearts to give Buddy a home so he can live the rest of his life in peace, keeping my fingers crossed for him, big hugs for you Buddy xxxxx

Well, Buddy's been with us 24 hours and the way he has settled in has been nothing short of remarkable. Buddy and Daisy are like old friends, there has been no animosity, even at meal times. He's made himself right at home and is loving exploring the house and garden and his appetite is returning. He had a mad few minutes last evening bouncing round in circles and running up and down the stairs having great fun. This morning we went on a 4 mile walk along the canal to Bumble Hole Visitor Centre where he met loads of other dogs and three of my young Grandchildren, all of which he took in his stride. He's a really lovely, good natured boy.

Buddy giving you a cuddle today because you were such a good boy yesterday.

Buddy enjoyed his day out on yesterdays Stratford Walk. Hetravels well in the car and mixed perfectly with all 40 other dogs on the walk and afterwards when drinks and doggie treats were being handed out. He is quite a quiet lad who does not push himself forward to create attention but most certainly has lots of love and affection to give to any family prepared to give him the forever home he deserves.

Ahhh Buddy! So glad you went home with Ruth on Wednesday as you were sad in the morning. DidN't want to do your walk, didn't want to go back in your kennel. It upset me to see your sad little face. Now it sounds like you an Coilean are having a great time! Enjoy your break sweetheart. Fingers crossed your forever sofa is very close.xx

Buddy came home with me on Wednesday as he seemed so down. He was not wanting to go on his walks, didn't like going back to his kennel and has remained a skinny bean.

That has all changed!!!!!!!!! He is scoffing every ounce of food pointed in his direction, loving his walks around the park and has been left at my house for 4 hours then a break then another 4 hours with no problem at all. We have a very active 3 year old greyhound by the name of Crazy Coilean, who is now his partner in crime!

Rather than keeping him muzzled all the time, whilst we are out or at night he is in his giant crate. He is great on the lead, clean in the house and sooooo beautiful. If anyone fancies taking this lad out to any of the training classes or out for the day, please let me know! Even more great would be the offer of a permanent home for this fabulous boy.......

That is always so sad to read when you think yippy another one has his new family sofa for it not to work out. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and hope that sofa is around the corner and lets face it with such a sweet look that cannot be long.

Buddy is such a Greyt boy,he has a new kennel mate Ashley today and when i went in they both went barmyyy !! He is so affectionate and friendly,got on great with our son and got on fab with Ashley. Good luck fella in your hunt for a new Sofa xxxxxx

Our Late Jenna, adopted from Nottingham, I also had Royal Impact as her dad and she looked very much like her grandfather Cry Havoc. Also very much like Charlie (Timely Impact). Sadly she died in June 2014 at not quite 9 years of age, and just 4 years since we adopted her. Still miss her every day.

Our Ben (who we had from Hall Green almost 5 years ago) also has Royal Impact as his dad. Ben is 9 this year.... I've seen a few at Daybreaks recently who have the same dad as Ben. J

Arrr Buddy is my boys half brother. Teds Father was Royal Impact too

Steve did walk Buddy yesterday, when I say walked Buddy decided he didn't really want to go walking so it was a very short one! Steve is coming again on Saturday, fingers crossed buddy is more energetic :) .

Buddy Boy - What can I say ! We had the pleasure of taking you to the Erdington roadshow, and what a pleasure you are ! Gentle on the lead, met a Staffie, Springer, a little fluffy (not sure what breed lol) oh and a teddy bear and a pigeon whilst you were interested you behaved impeccably. A little shy sometimes but you took the strange environment in your stride and weren't fazed by it and stood for hours lapping up cuddles and kisses - what a fantastic boy !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent a few minutes with Buddy in his kennel today,he is very affectionate and got on Greyt with our 9 year old Son Scott. He was very disappointed when Scott left his kennel,he just wanted more fuss. He is a lovely boy who will be a fab addition to any household. xxx

Oh yes always keep my eye on the RGT page. Apart from the fact I've named myself as the wift in the cycling duo. I am also the wife in the cycling duo x

Sadly Buddy has been unreserved just. The people who had reserved him now feel a greyhound is not the right breed for them. We support them in this decision as it has to be 100% right for both the dog and adopters... We wish them luck in finding the right dog for there family.
