I had the pleasure of seeing my boy off to his new home today. In true Nosey fashion, as we did the paperwork in the office he had his head into everything and soon discovered where the biscuits were!! Wishing him and his lovely new family many years of happiness together - will miss him but am delighted for him, his own sofa is the very best place to be. xxxx

Nosey is being such a brilliant boy! Every day he has his dressing changed on his foot and he is healing really well. He has got used to the routine and just lays there and enjoys the extra TLC each day. x

Not long to go now matey, although when I visited you today I see you have gained another little girlfriend! You are now looking after the timid Finn as well as Mini, and doing a good job by the looks of it as she is certainly starting to come out of her shell a little bit. Well done my big boy, cuddles for you handsome. xxx

Nosey has been through so much but now he has stopped barking so much he has settled well and would not hurt a fly... a great personality and we wish this lad all the best in his forever home.... XXXX

Popped in to the kennels this morning to say goodbye to my Nosey boy. He came up for lots of lovely fuss, standing with his head pressed into my legs, just like my Shane used to. Such good news his kennel mate Mini has been reserved today too and won't be spending too much time on her own once the lovely boy goes off to his own sofa next week. All the best Nosey, will miss your lovely grey face and our cuddles, but be so very happy. Lots of love, xxxxxx

Well - the big fella has spent the night at our house following his operation yesterday. He was a bit subdued until he saw the treat tin! Bless him - he is one adorable, full of personality, lovely fella who made himself quite at home on our sofa :-)

Poor Nosey. I am sure that you will be fine. When I got Willow it took a couple of days for me to notice she was missing a toe!! Lisa checked the kennel info on her but there was nothing on there, so must have happened after she was homed originally. Fortunately I use the same vets as her previous owner so I did manage to find out that she had fractured a toe which had to be removed. Look forward to your update (and no doubt a few days at Auntie Ruth's house). xxxx

I took Nosey to the vets and unfortunately his toe is still swollen causing him to limp. It has therefore been decided that amputation is the best way forward. He is booked to go in tomorrow and I will keep you posted as to how he gets on.

Nosey has been an absolute star! He has been quiet all night and this morning we had cuddles on the window seat! He really is a lovely boy - he will come home again with me tonight (which does prove he is being golden!) in the bid to keep his bandage as dry as possible.

Sorry Mary - he won't be able to have a walk tomorrow but you can have a cuddle instead! Nosey has been admitted to Fivelands today as he has been limping. It seems he has something embedded deep into the pad which I have tried to elicit but with no joy :-( Whilst he is under GA he will have a couple of wobbly teeth removed - bless him - he is soooo lovely. He had totally changed in personality from when he arrived. He is much calmer, very loving, responds well to recall and is getting much better with very small fluffy dogs (as I found out at the vets last night)! He gets my cuddle today (real and virtual!)

I walked nosey in the run on sunday am b4 he went to stratford walk... he was no trouble,calm, and easy to handle .. totally different to kennel life.... mary xx

What a lovely day out you had my boy - it is nice to get out and about and see just what this "outside world" is all about. Well done for being a good boy, I hope you had a lovely sleep and that you will soon have that sofa of your own. Big cuddles. xxx

So good to hear Nosey had a great day out from the kennels with Norman today. He really is such a brilliant boy with lots of character. Hope he won't have to wait too much longer for his forever home. Xxx

Nosey should sleep well tonight ! He's had a long day out in Stratford where he first of all joinned the other 38 dogs on this mornings Stratford Walk and then moved on to spend some time at Stratford Garden Centre.
He mixes well with all his fellow greys and other breeds although it may still need a little caution to be shown when he meets very small fluffy dogs. He walks well on the lead and travelled well in the Trust van.
He also met small children and enjoyed the attention he received from them. We are all aware that it can sometimes be a long wait before the grey faced black lads find their forever homes but lets hope Noseys personality can help him find the home he deserves before too long.

Lovely to see you today nosey - and minus your cone of shame! You seemed so much calmer than you used to be - although you didn't let anyone forget about taking you out on a walk. You walked lovely with Andy and were no bother at all. Gorgeous lad x J

Nosey had to have his temperature taken earlier in the week...he was not impressed! Understandably he was feeling rather fragile after his operation. He wouldn't let anyone near him; so we had to get Sara the love of his life to give him a big cuddle and hold him close...it worked a treat! Nosey is a super lad, do hope he won't have to wait too much longer for his forever home. Xxx

Oh Nosey... I did feel sorry for you with your big bright white cone of shame on today. It did make me laugh though when I turned round and saw you looking at me. Poor lad. Hope you will be more comfortable soon. Hug for you lad x J

Nosey is in love! The subject of his admiration is our volunteer Sara...we tested his attachment in the run today. Several of us tried to attract his attention but he only had eyes for Sara :)) He may be a noisy boy in his kennel but I am sure this is because he just doesn't like being in a kennel environment. He is a very special lad....he needs a special someone he can give his heart too! Xxx

Oh Nosey, I would have loved to have seen you playing hide & seek today! You are such a lovely boy with the most gorgeous grey face - everyone knows I am a soft touch for boys with faces like yours! Nosey had a great time playing hide and seek in the kitchen run and kennel with Sara today...the look on his face when he couldn't find her and his very waggy tail when he did find her was brilliant! Xxx

Had the pleasure of meeting this "iceberg" today at the kennels. Why iceberg? over 90% of Nosey is behind bars with just a little nose poking through which just loves a rub, then he stands so elegantly to have the rest of him fussed, what a lovely lad.
