It is a nice picutre of Guinness and his two little friends in the Homer magazine. I am sure he would be happy to know you are going to rescue another greyhound needing a lovely home. Hope all works out well for you and Topper. Kind regards. xxx

thankyou for all your kind comments! he was a truely spectacular dog! have just visited daybreaks 2day,nearly a year since guinness passed away, considering maybe getting another grey! (its taken us a while to get to this point). we met a beautiful blue boy called topper! we've come home & had a chat about it & we're going 2 ring & hopefully reserve him 2moro!!! he'll never replace our stunning black boy, but he'll definately fill the doggy gap in our lifes!! xx

it's so sad to hear that Guinness lost his life to cancer, his owner must be so very devastated he was such a loving boy. farewell little boy.xxxx

Oh no, such awful news. I hope Guinness's family are bearing up, at least they can reassure themselves that they gave Guinness a short but wonderful retirement. And well done Guinness for showing the world how greys can live with small furries! God bless x

I am so sorry to hear the sad news abut Guinness; he sounds as though he was a lovely boy. My thoughts are with his family xx

I have just received an email from Guinness' owners. Unfortunately they lost Guinness to bone caner in March. I am heartbroken - he was one of my favourites, sharing my birthday too! He appeared in an article in Your Dog magazine recently defending the myth that greyhounds can't live with cats. He was a grey with a fantastic temperament and I am sure he is running free across the rainbows xxxxx

Mal, you are a very lucky boy! I've met your new mum and dad and they're very excited about taking you home. You've got a lovely bed waiting for you with LOADS of toys and chews to play with. You're going to be a very happy chappy!!

Amy, you are right, he's a beautiful black hound and when we walked him he was very well behaved. he just settled into the kennels no problem at all. xxx

What a happy, handsome face he's got! I'm sure this black beauty wont find it hard to find a forever home. I'd take him home right away if I could! Then again, I'd take them all!!

thankyou! the other two trouble makers in the picture are tinka & santos the cats! tinka always used to steal guinness's bed & he'd end up having to curl up around her on the edge of his bed, very funny!! xx
