What a sad wkend.....I also remember Caddy very well. A reasonable age but again not fair to be only 6 months short of his 12th birthday. His parents will be so upset but I hope they take comfort from knowing they gave him a good life. I saw him around a year or 2 ago & he was still a lovely friendly easy going boy. RIP boy....may god lift you up & guide you to comfort.
Love Seana, Fergal & Theo xxx

Caddy came to see Jess for a bath and pamper today. It was so funny to watch him when the hairdryer was switched on. He absolutely loved it; turning his head this way and that as if to say look at me! He is a very handsome lad and he knows it! Bless him. Xxx

How lovely this boy is. He is currently sharing the kitchen kennel with his "harem" - the pretty Maggie & Missy Moo. Such a handsome boy, he just loves a fuss and a neck rub - then is content to lie down and snooze. Extra big cuddles for you my lovely boy. xxxx

Caddy came back to the kennels today. Although minus most of his tail he is still the same happy, lovely lad...he just waggles his bottom instead of his tail! Thanks so much to his great vet for taking care of him after his recent operation. Sending Caddy my cuddle tonight. Xxx

I have added a fabulous new photo of Caddy in his foster home. Despite fireworks, windy and wet weather, I am told he has been so settled. I am really happy! This boy would make a great addition to a home....

There is always a positive for every negative they say and Caddy has found himself a foster home because of his amputation.... with the vet who operated on him! It is just for a week whilst he heals but I know he is in the best of hands xxxx

I picked up Caddy from the vets this evening. My heart has broken that he no longer has his lovely elegant tail :-(((((
He is very settled (not bothered at all by the fireworks) and will be getting plenty of extra TLC over the next few days.

Caddy has had a comfortable settled night on a bed on the floor in our bedroom. He has toileted outside and I will be taking him shortly on a short walk before going to the vets. If you think you could offer this beautiful gentle boy a foster home whilst he heals, please give me a call as soon as possible x 07760617287 (Ruth)

Oh poor Caddy but I was there today when his bandage came off and things did not look hopeful for him keeping the tail. He was so good and patient while the bandage was removed, stood very still with no struggling or yelping even though it took a little while. Hope all goes well for him tomorrow. He is a very loving boy and I'm sure the lack of a tail will not lessen his chances of getting a lovely comfy sofa! Sending him hugs. Xx

I have got Mr Gorgeous Grey stopping with us this evening. It is with sadness that he is going in to have his tail amputated tomorrow. We have been battling for a couple of weeks with bandaging but his constantly happy waggy tail has caused no end of damage and it has looked like a murder scene at the kennels a few times :-( He has had lots of extra treats tonight and cuddles on the sofa before his rotten day tomorrow...... If you are after a very handsome boy - please think about Caddy.

Caddy is such a happy lad...unfortunately he has managed to damage the end of his tail due to him hitting it against his kennel walls as he wags it so much! What he really needs is a home of his own with lots more space, so he can happily wag his tail from morning to night! Xxx

Caddy was crying as I was locking up last night - a soulful howl that I just couldn't ignore :-( I therefore unlocked and took him out for a play in the run - he had a fabulous time and then I changed the kennel he was in and he seemed to settle straight away. Bless him - he is very affectionate and of course very handsome!
