So pleased to see you fostered Neval, don't worry about the separation anxiety, you will overcome it I promise. Our 2nd grey Peg suffered terribly from it something unknown to us as our first Shaun settled from day one. Peg took time to settle & adjust but with all the help and support we received from Kate, Ruth & Lynn (our homechecker) Peg has blossomed into a very happy,cheeky and mischievous girl XX good luck Neval, stay strong lovely xx

I am so sad when I see dogs being returned. We homed Walter 3 years ago & felt a bit daunted to start with but help was on hand & we have never looked back. Last year we had a new boy who suffered from terrible separation anxiety to start with but we overcame it. It was very different as Walt had never shown any signs of separation anxiety so we were complete novices but there is always advice on hand so you aren't just expected to cope alone. We had to make some adjustments to make it work but we felt that was part of the committment. These things take time but Ernie overcame it and is such a lovely boy he was worth it. I hope seeing that Neval has had a bit of anxiety won't put people off. He sounds gorgeous in every way & I can say from experience that it is so rewarding when they finally realise it's all going to be ok & this amazing new home they have found is for keeps. These amazing dogs pay you back ten times over for the patience you give them. I am always looking & wishing I could home another one. If I had room for a third I would be round in a flash! I hope you are snoozing on a sofa somewhere very soon Neval. X

Neval I am so sorry I had to take you out in the cold and rain this morning for your walk. You obviously hated every minute of it and would rather have stayed on your warm bed! Hope the cuddles afterwards made up for it a little bit. You are so very lovely I just cannot believe no one has snapped you up. xx

I too was walking Neval in the park today. I must say he was very well behaved in the car and walked well on the lead. Never once did he pull on the lead towards the other dogs or towards the ducks on the pond. He will make a great companion for someone ????

Neval has today been to Brueton Park together with Dawn and Percy. He travelled well in the car and during the hour plus we were at the park he was totally relaxed, walking well on the lead and having no problems at all witb any of the many other breeds of dogs we met.
When previously homed he did suffer with separation anxiety but from his manner today I would say he would fit perfectly into a home with dogs already in residence(not neccessarily having to be greyhounds). He most certainly enjoys the company of other dogs although sadly not cats.
Hopefully he will soon get the chance to find his forever home.

With all the helpers at the kennels today it was great to go on a walk and I took the gorgeous Neval. He is so good on his lead and so affectionate. x

Sadly Neval has been returned as he has been suffering from separation anxiety since being rehomed last week. We feel he may benefit perhaps from living with a family as he loves to play with a ball and was very clean in the house.
