Just to give you an update on Archie (Gooner). He is a star - enjoying life with Molly chasing each other round the garden which has become a mini-racetrack. Ironically he and Molly are distant relations thanks to the sterling efforts of "I'm Slippy". He walks well on the lead but gets excited when meeting other people.

Archie is so affectionate always up close looking for his cuddles and he has settled in well as part of the family.

Thank you to everyone who 'liked' my update on Archie(Gooner), even though we don't know most of you. Archie is really a lovely affectionate boy who loves to get close. He is full of fun - he loves his toys and enjoys chasing Molly around the garden. He has given Molly a new lease of life after we lost our dear Paddy in August. Archie has a lovely temperament and he certainly has settled in quickly. What a find! Thank you everyone. Mhoraig and Frank

Gooner (now known as Archie) is a lovely dog. He has settled in well with Molly and loves his cuddles and his food. Walks perfectly on the lead and follows me around the house like a shadow! It's like he has been with us forever and definitely a keeper. A great move for him and us. Thanks Daybreak for introducing us to him at the show on Sunday.

Lovely to see Gooner has a reserved sign, you have one lovely dog there. Hope all goes well and he gets to his new home soon, lots of love and cuddles xx

Please dont be put off by beautiful Gooner coming back. If i didnt have a stroppy collie who is having one to one training at present i would have taken him in a heartbeat if i could. So very sad that mom couldnt handle him, he is one very happy, lively and friendly boy xx

Gooner has spent the morning in Elmdon Park. He is a happy friendly lad who greets everyone both human and canine in a happy friendly way with a whirlwind waggy tail. There are no problems with him and other breeds as he proved with the 10 week old springer spaniel he met. He was keen to join in when watching other dogs running off the lead but this was just down to his natural friendliness and exuberance. A lovely lad who will enjoy living with a family who can give him the active life he is best suited by.

oh Gooner, I'm so sorry things didn't work out for you. Don't worry handsome lad - that sofa is out there somewhere. Sending a hug. xx

Very sadly Gooner has been returned today. Unfortunately his owner thinks he is a little too bouncy for her to cope with. Although his stay with the family was only short she said he was super and hopes he will find the right home very soon. Xxx

Sheamus (Gooner) is a very happy boys and loves everyone he meets, not so keen on a little Yorky he met but played with a Spaniel. He is loving his home comforts so far and hopefully carries on that way, i am going to visit him at Moms tomorrow. Xx
