Mel is a lovely boy as everyone connected to Daybreaks said. We'll do our very best to give him a happy life. He likes his 3 new 'sisters' and they like him and he's a very good boy with our 2 cats xxx

Mel has come along so well. He's greeting me all bouncy, loves you to pat him thinks it's a game. Walks without stopping on a main road for about 25 mins he does like to stop and sniff, this is without other dogs all on his own. I'm so proud of him, he's such a loving boy. Goes to vets for castration on friday. Hope all goes well . Xxxx

Mel has been very good, heard him a couple of times in the night with a little whine clean all night. This morning walk went really well only stopped once, iv put a harness on him, incase when you pull him it hurts his neck when using a collar. So far so good . Mel is a lovely boy xxx

Poor Mel. He was so happy when I went to get him for his walk this morning. Waggy tail and a sloppy kiss. Soon changed his mind once we were out on the A45! The walk took quite long as he refused to move quite a few times and it took some time and encouragement to get him going again. We eventually got back as far as the gates and he decided that was definitely enough and me and Jill had to carry him back to his kennel! Once back he was quite happy and gave me another sloppy kiss before I went home! Hope he settles soon as he is a really lovely boy and a joy to walk once you get him going!

Sending my cuddle to Mel tonight, he is a very sweet lad but is finding life at the kennels very stressful at the moment. I did get a gentle wag of his tail this afternoon...bless him. Sure he will thrive in a home environment with someone special to give him lots of love and tlc. Xxx
