How lovely to hear Daphne and Dodger are doing so well together :) When she was at the kennels she just wanted to play all day long! So very pleased she has found a friend who wants to play too. :)) Xxx

Well Daphne has been with us a whole 2 weeks now.....and it feels like she has been here for ages. We had one night where her and Dodger were obviously sorting out the house rules between them selves... all very vocal, but we were determined to leave them to it. By the morning, they were absolutely fine, and obviously besotted with each other. They do nothing but wag and now play together, chasing round, spinning on the spot and play bows..... yipping at each other...OMG they are so so cute together, can't believe how much we love them both. Best thing we ever did bringing Daphne home with us :)

really pleased to see that our johnies ex kennel mate has found her forever home and sofa .told johnie last nite I said to him ooo our johnie yer kennel friend finch has a new family bless him it was if he knows what I'm sayin cos there seemed to be a slight smile on his face hope yuoll all bevery happy with your latest addition she really is a beautiful girl .good luck daphnia lots of love from johnie and his new family xx

Quick update on Daphne. She is truly relaxed and chilled already. Her and Dodger are firm friends, playing together and snuggling together. She really is adorable. Now she has settled in, tomorow we are going to introduce her to our very large dog-toy collection. Will let you know how that goes:) loads of the neighbours have met her, and are all smitten (they already love Dodger) and buzzing about 'greyhounds as pets' watch this space..... she is working the crowd well. Still got a blanket covering the tv, so she doesn't get upset by her reflection.... ha ha

I'm delighted to read how well Daphne is adjusting to life in her new home. The timing couldn't have been better as she was becoming unhappy in the kennel environment, but it sounds like she is flourishing with the handsome Dodger to show her the way. xx

Update on our lovely Daphne. She was out walking with us all afternoon and she behaved beautifully!! Second night last night and she was clean and dry!!! And we got up this morning to find her and Dodger had slept on one bed together.... and they have just gone back to bed.....together! She is such a beautiful girl, doesn't stop wagging and it feels like she has been here forever :)

Daphne had a good first night with us and is settling in so so well, ate a fab breakfast!!! Off out to check out her new neighbourhood now. :)

So pleased for this little sweetie. I'm sure that she will bring a lot of happiness to her new family.

I am not surprised Dodger fell for lovely Finch. She is such a sweet girl. Wishing you all lots of fun times together. Xxx

Just to let everyone know that Daphne is settling in really well in her new home. Dodger, our other greyhound is showing her the ropes, and is a calming influence. Daphne has eaten a big tea and enjoyed a pigs ear, now snoozing on her bed. She has been exploring every nook and cranny in her new home..... fascinated by reflections (and the washing machine!) Here's hoping she settles for her first night here, will keep you all updated :) she really is a very sweet girl, tail never stops wagging and Dodger loves her already :)

we have just heard from Daphne new owners, she has settled in fantasically and is a little facinated with the TV. LOl. xxx

Really enjoyed giving Finch some well earned fuss today. She's not a happy hound at the moment and could really do with finding a home. Finch is a lovely little sweetie and would fit in very easily into home life.

Little Finch made me chuckle today. She shares a kennel with Johnnie who can be quite boisterous and active. On previous occassions, I've seen him barging past Finch to get a treat, lead up etc. Fnch has obviously decided to fight back and she now pushes herself to the front and gives as good as she gets. This morning she leapt over Johnnie towards me as soon as she saw meaty strips. Finch is a little cutie learning to look out for herself. Lovely.
