Big Moe came to the kennels for a pamper with Jess today. It was great to see him and his Mum. He is still so very handsome! He has a few grey hairs appearing which just make him more distinguished! He was such a good boy during his pamper and afterwards he was treated to a new toy. :)) Xxx

Hello Lisa, thank you so much for your message. I am hoping to go to Pompeii for my studies at the end of March and so it would be spending time with Moe and/or walking him on a Monday to Friday. He is used to me being at home with him and this would break up the day for him until my son gets home from work. If you could spare an hour maybe? But I can fit in with what you can do. If you would not mind asking Kate for my number I can give you the dates to see if you might be free. I would be so grateful. And you know how cuddly moe is :)

Well, apparently it is another special day because it is my birthday and I am four! I have had a new squeaky Kong because the first one lost its squeak (I don’t know where it went) and mum hid lots of treats in the wrapping paper so I had lots of surprises when I tore it open. Yummy! Love to everyone especially all the doggies at the kennels. I really hope that you will all have your own sofas soon xx

Fletch says he just doesn't have the will power to save anything edible and he would make sure Skip or Lyra didn't try it either! He is very impressed Moe saved the carrot long enough for it to go mouldy! :)) Xxx

It was a good plan Moe, next time try for some biscuits, they just crumble if you don't use them up. I don't like it when mom gets the noisy thing out to clear them away though! Lubs Florence xxx

Well, apparently if you happen to leave a carrot safely hidden away under your bed it goes mouldy and a bit smelly. Who would have thought it? I was only saving it in case mum ever forgets to feed me. You never know, it could happen. I knew something must be up because mum said “Oh my goodness” in a funny voice and moved quite quickly to the bin. I still got my treat though so all is well, love from Moe xxxx

Hello auntie Kate thank you so much for coming to see me and mum and bringing my cool coat. I really like it! I loved seeing you and Lyra and she can come and play with my toys and lie in my bed any time that she wants to:)) it meant I got lots of snuggles with you while Lyra was busy with my toys - my cunning plan ha ha :)) lots of love from me and mum xxxx

I had the pleasure of seeing Moe and his lovely Mum today. Lyra and I popped over to see them to deliver a cool coat for Moe. He was so very excited to see us! Lyra made herself at home on his bed with his toys and had the cheek to grumble at him when he wanted to play too!! He looks absolutely stunning and so very, very happy! :)) Hope he likes his wet coat. Xxx

Mum says it’s a very special day cos it is one year exactly since she got me. I had yummy mackerel for breakfast this morning and a new squeaky teddy yesterday so I think special days are a jolly good idea. I wonder if there are any more coming up? I liked the funny white stuff and I did lots of zoomies which made mum laugh and she gave me little treats. I have been for a nice walk in the sunshine and now I am back on my sofa having a rest from my busy life.
Mum and auntie Debbie say I’m a star and I am perfect. I think they are right:)

This is beautiful Moe’s first Christmas with us and he has Kitty from the kennels staying here with him which is wonderful.

Well, me was very puzzled Sunday. Mum was telling someone off but I looked round and there was only me there. It couldn’t have been me though because me hardly ever does anything wrong. Take Sunday, for example, Me went in the garden to see if there was any more of that funny white stuff so me could do some bouncing and some zoomies. Me couldn’t find any so me looked for something else to do. Me found this nice pink bag with very interesting smells (the sort that mum says “yuk” about when we is out walking). So me decided to take it in to show mum and me opened it up and put the things on the carpet so mum could see them properly (and me could have a good nose at them too). Well, mum came downstairs and somehow she didn’t seem too keen on the bag being indoors and the bits being on the carpet. Come to think of it, that’s when mum started telling someone off. Oh well, not to worry, couldn’t have been me. Mum says me’s getting a little friend to stay for Christmas so me looking forward to showing Kitty all the best places for smells but maybe not the pink bags though .......

Moe came into our lives on Tuesday 4th March and came home with us. He is such a joy to have, full of love and cuddles and energy and fun. He loves playing with his toys, running about and then lying upside down on the sofa. Everything is exciting for Moe and he is very quick to learn. I am still not sure how he has managed to wangle four walks a day out of me?! We love him so much. A special thank you to gazzatriumph for looking after him while he waited for a place at Daybreaks and to LadyVictoria and Jess&Tilly for suggesting Moe to us. He is perfect!

So great to see Moe again today and what a welcome I received in the run! He is such a sweet boy and was so well behaved in the bath - he just loves all the attention :) xxx

I do look forward to taking Moe out for a walk. You know that the first minute is going to be pandemonium while you get his lead sorted, followed by a walk with a really delightful hound who is no trouble at all. He loves his walks and mixes well with everybody else.
Moe is a real character and would light up any home. What a special hound he is.

It's been a while since I went to see Moe in his kennel, so today I thought he would enjoy a couple of treats. Moe now thinks that he is lapdog and managed to manouvre himself, upside down, on to my lap within seconds. He had me pinned down for a good 30 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed the fuss. What a big softy he is - we both have that in common!

Looks like Jess has got herself a very handsome Valentine! Xxx

Moe is such as special lad, please please do not be put off by his size!! He is such a snuggle monster and loves to be close to you. He can be bouncy on his lead to start but once you're out he walks very nicely on the lead. Hopefully his 'valentine' will come and choose him and he can have someone to love xxxx

Moe has today been helping at the Pets at Home Stratford Awareness and collection.
. He really is the most amazingly friendly dog and relished every bit of attention he received. He allowed small children to hug and fuss him and had no problems when meeting even the smallest of other breeds. He also travelled quietly and well in the car.
A wonderful dog who was a joy to take out and at only just over 2 years of age will hopefully have many many years of happy retirement with the lucky family who are able to give him the forever home he richly deserves.

Moe gets my cuddle for today, such a handsome chap, hope you soon find your forever family to love and care for you xxxx

Moe is a big bundle of fun. I went to visit him in his kennel and he certainly knows how to make you feel welcome.
He soon settled down on our walk was no trouble at all.
Moe is a big, lovable character and you would not be short of entertainment if you adopted him.

I've walked Moe for the last 3 months while waiting to go in to the trust, he settles down on the lead after being excited initially, he found a bone in the field where I walked him and I was able to take it out of his month with no problems, he is a loving dog I would have had him myself but I've already got two greyhounds, so someone give him a good home please.

I had the pleasure of helping welcome this big boy to the kennels today. He is a big, fit boy! Moe is certainly a hound to keep you on your toes - he's friendly, wants to play, loves biscuits and is an impressive physical specimen. He won't be here long I'm sure.
