My beautiful Serendipity. I was certain that you would have melted someone's heart by now. For anyone looking for a new best friend, Seren is perfect. She lived in our family for 16 months and was perfect in every way. She was around children from as young as 11 months up to 9 years and many ages in between including toddlers as we have many Grand children. She was so gentle with all of them and although when she's in the sand run she will run around like Speedy Gonzalis, in the garden with my Grand children she was an angel and so careful with them. She is absolutely brilliant with all sizes and shapes of dogs, never shown aggression towards them and her favourite things in all the world are to have a good snuggle, she loves her grub and is a total sun worshipper. She has been returned to Daybreaks through absolutely no fault of her own, it was sadly due to my other dog's aggression issues and we are all broken hearted to see her go. She is clean in the house, travels very well in the car (She'll just curl up and go to sleep until she gets to her destination) and went on many adventures in the caravan which she loved. With age comes sensibleness and she knows when she needs to be calm but she has a twinkle in her eye and loves to play and fool around too. Please don't over look my gorgeous girl. She deserves a comfy sofa and a family to call her own.Xx

This girl accompanied me on the GGGW today and what a dream. She was not bothered by any kind of dog, even when they were running off lead past her... She walks fantastic on the lead and loves cuddles... She really is no trouble at all. Please do not be put off by her age, she is so much like a 3 year old, she would fit into any home. X

Thank you all for your kind words, it really means a lot. Lovely Ruth took the time this morning to email me to let me know that Seren had a settled night and a lovely run this morning which I thought was really nice of her as I know her days are filled to the brim already. It was also great to hear that she'd had a lovely day in the office cuddling up with Paddy, she does love a cuddle. The house hasn't been the same today and I know that Daisy has felt it too as she has been very quiet today. I've been recommended an alternative vet who will look further into Daisy's problems and they have lots of the larger investigative equipment on site so we will hopefully start to get some answers as to how best to help Daisy. Thank you so much to everyone at Daybreaks for taking such wonderful care of our girl, you are all amazing and I cannot thank you enough.x

An old favourite girl of mine Jingle, I was sad to see her returning but sometimes this has to be and it must have been very difficult for her family to return her and I feel sorry for them. Paddy was pleased to see her at Daybreaks today and they shared the office bed for quite some time today. Please please someone take her home, she's a super cute little dot who wants to love and be loved by all. The sad look in her eyes when Paddy had to go home said it all xx

Today we sadly had to return our beautiful Seren (Serendipity in full meaning something precious found by chance). She is the most loving, kind hearted, funny dog you could ever wish to meet and it has broken my heart today bringing her back. Seren has been returned through absolutely no fault of her own and the decision was one of the hardest I have ever had to make. My other dog Daisy, has become aggressive and will bite, without warning. One minute she is fine, the next she will attack and be back to her normal self in moments. Seren was sadly getting the brunt of Daisy's aggression and was starting to fear leaving her bed which was so hard to see. I know many people will question why I hadn't rehomed Daisy instead as she is causing the problem but because she has bitten and is aggressive, I could not pass her to a family in fear of them being hurt too and the other option of euthanasia is one I'm really struggling to face. I have visited vets numerously and behaviourists with Daisy but following the conversation with Ruth earlier, will be revisiting the vets and demanding further testing as even my Grandchildren can't come to visit anymore. Seren is excellent on the lead, great with other dogs. I run a grooming salon from home and Seren met dogs from as small as Chihuahua's to big Labradoodles and all sizes in between with no problems at all. She is brilliant with kids though can get a bit excitable and wiggly. She is great in the car, loves caravanning and the beach. She isn't good with cats and her recall unfortunately needs a little work as she can get distracted easily. She loves cuddles and food and will nudge you in the leg with her nose in the direction of her food bowl or her lead depending on what she's after. She will melt anyone's heart should they meet her. I would love for Seren to have a life as wonderful as she is and filled with lots of love and cuddles nice walks and a cosy bed (or sofa). I would love to be kept up to date with Seren's future and am more than happy for her new family to have my details from Ruth. The house feels very empty tonight.

This little lass is going to be returned due to problems with the family’s existing dog having problems. I feel desperately sorry for the family as it has been a hard decision to make. We will let you know when she is arriving and hopefully she can find a home as soon as possible. She is good on the lead, good with children and house trained. She is not cat friendly.

Well it's been a whole week since Jingle (who we've now name Pepper) joined our family and it couldn't have gone better. She loves Daisy and Daisy loves her. So lovely to see them playing together. Met a multitude of various breeds without issue. Has been clean throughout. Met all 5 grandchildren (aged 18 months up to 7 years) and was golden with them all. She has a wonderful, funny character which is starting to emerge. Thank you so much Ruth for your patience last week in helping us find the perfect match, which we most definitely did. Next week's test, the vets as her vaccinations are due. I'm sure she will be on her best behaviour though.

Hi, Jingle here. Just thought I'd give you all a quick update. Well last night I was a little overwhelmed with having to wear a muzzle to sleep in, even though it was pretty and pink so Mom said as I was such a good girl, I could leave it off. I did cry for a while but Mom came and slept on the sofa so I could see her and I finally settled down. I was very clean all night long which everyone seemed very happy about. I met some little dogs on our morning walk which I wasn't really interested in, mom was excited about that too (she gets very excitable about things. No wonder Daisy is so crazy hee hee). After our lunch time walk, Mom said that me and Daisy were a pair of mucky pup's after all our fun and games in the sand yesterday so she took us to 'the groom room'. Check this out, Mom is a doggy beautifyer person (aka a dog groomer) so I have my very own doggy spa and beautician on tap which is just as well as I enjoy a good pampering :-D. I am now all clean, dry and chilling out with my new buddy Daisy who also smells much better now and feels like a big fluffy pillow. Big test tomorrow as Mom has doggy customers visiting so I have to be on my bestest behaviour which I'm sure I will be as everyone says I'm a little angel ???? well apart from the counter surfing but I'm a fast learner ;-) x

Today was a very emotional day. We came to take the extremely gorgeous Lady home with us but sadly, she didn't get on with our crazy Daisy dog at all so we all had to agree that it was for the best that Lady wouldn't come home with us which was really sad. After a few more meet and greets we discovered Jingle. Her and Daisy hit it off so well in the sand run and played beautifully together, better than we could have ever imagined so Jingle came home with us instead. They both curled up together in the back of he car and slept all the way home to Weston super Mare. Have been out for some walks, have some food and are both lying down together in the living room looking rather chilled out. Jingle was quite excited about lots of things when she came into the house like, what on earth is that big square thing on the wall with moving pictures and why is there a greyhound looking back at me through this glass door. But now that she has checked everything out, has settled in perfectly. Thank you so much Ruth for being so patient with us.Xx

I had the pleasure of taking Jingle to the Stratford walk today. She travelled fine in the car lying down gently into the space Paddy left her. She enjoyed the walk and was happy to be close to Paddy and enjoy all the sights and sounds of the big wide world. Jingle is a very loving girl too to all who came to say hello along the way. We met two noisy terrier dogs but Jingle wasn't bothered by them at all and seemed to say what's all the fuss about! I am confident she will make a superb loyal loving pet for some lucky people as she was a joy to be with today xx
