I visited Rio and Ella's Mom and Dad today. They very kindly had boxes of goodies for me to collect. Rio and Ella looked fantastic and were very happy! Ella obviously thought I needed an extra wash as she made sure I was licked clean! :)) xx

I spoke to Rio's Dad today. He wanted Rio's fan club to know Rio is a very happy lad and enjoying his new life. He loves playing with his toys and lying in the garden. Brilliant! Xxx

Rio had a fantastic time in the run this morning! He loves playing with the toys throwing them here, there and everywhere! Xxx

Rio was full of beans yesterday. His dental work seems to have made him feel a lot better, but I think that he may miss Maggie for a while.

Rio was back to form today. He was clearly feeling rough yesterday but was full time of it today. 5 minutes in a kennel with him, Maggie and a bag of treats left me in doubt that they were both in a particularly good mood. Great fun.

Jembob, you do make me chuckle, unfortunately we won't be visiting next week after all, our boy Dexter ripped his claw off last week and it just won't seem to heal so it is still strapped up at the moment, so no bath for him, hopefully we will be over in a few weeks time and if the lovely Rio is still there I will make a beeline for him for some serious snuggles xxx

Confirmed. Rio is my current favourite and that really is saying somthing considering the competition.
That said, while in pursuit of a savoury treat this morning, Rio was rather clumsy with his front paw while he jumped over me. Could have sang soprano for the rest of the morning!
A wonderful example of the noble greyhound and perhaps the softest canine ever. Shanishoo is going to fall in love with this boy next week (just like the rest of us) when she visits DB next week!!

I'm officially a member of the Rio fan club! What an absolute stunner he is - leans a lot, loves a kiss and a fuss and was one of the winners of my clean kennel award this morning too. He also thoroughly enjoyed his time with our disabled visitor, and stood beautifully while she groomed him. With that kind, handsome face I cant see this boy being here long. xx

I met lovely Rio today and I could see why he's got his own fan club at Daybreaks. A very happy friendly lad just wanting to be best buddies with everyone. He gets my cuddle today he's a super dog xx
