We is so pleased Judy has found a family to adopt - Mother says if she is like me she will be the best of problem children - how rude !! I would like to say it's not me that's she is having to drive to the vets all de time cos of a broken toe, that would be Breeze, much more of a problem I thinks. Lubs Jato X

Shy foster girl Judy has today attended her first greyhound awareness event by helping to sell scratch cards at Pets at Homes(Stratford) Charity day with current home companion Fred.
After initial shyness she gradually became more confident and by the end of the 4 hour event she was accepting all the fuss and cuddles that were coming her way.
Again all we can do is request that any prospective possible future adopter give this very loving girl the time to overcome her initial nervousness and then be able to show her true loving nature to its full extent.

I was really surprised that Judy didn't make a fuss of her sister when they met in the Stratford walk. I really thought they would recognise each other. We did have a lovely walk. Xx

When these little shy girlies start to find their feet it is so lovely - funny as well, she still has moments of worry even yesterday children were playing on the other side of a hedge - when she gets panicky the other two walk either side of her it's amazing to see. But we have traffic lights at the end of our road and she loves to peep in car windows, we stood for ages well she looked at the bus driver !!! Xxx

Can I endorse Kates comments regarding Judy. She really is the most loving affectionate girl once her initial caution on 1st meeting has passed. She loves the company of other dogs of all breeds and would fit perfectly into a quiet home. A viewing can easily be arranged at Daybreaks or at her foster home.
Shy black greyhounds can often get passed by when it comes to finding them homes but Im positive that whoever decides they can give Judy that home will not regret it. She's a fabulous girl.

Norman brought Judy in today. She is currently being fostered for us but really needs a forever home. She is such a sweet little girl and although quite nervous at first will come and say Hello to you. She had a great time playing in the run with Sara's Charlie and Louis and my Greyhound Skip. She would be a perfect friend if you already have another dog. Xxx

It was lovely to see Judy today. She is such a sweet girl; Caroline says she is the most perfect girl. She gets on great with her Greyhound Fred, is completely housetrained, sleeps through the night and although being shy when you meet her she is very happy in her home environment and loves to play! If you think you could offer Judy her forever home please call us on 0121 782 7702. Xxx

Time in a foster home will really help Judy. Once we got her off her bed this morning she walked really well and enjoyed being out and about. She also nibbled on a treat and enjoyed some fuss.

I met Judy and her sister Janet today when I dropped into the kennels. They are so sweet but shy little things. I am sure that they will blossom once they settle in and feel safe. I'll be watching their progress with much interest now I've met them both xx

Judy is very cute. Very nervous but looks to Janet her kennel mate for help; if Janet thinks it's ok to come out of the kennel then she comes out too. Sure they will both gain in confidence when they get used to their new surroundings. Xxx
