I can understand how scary things like this can be, just after we had Jato I was out with all three and some very small dogs got out of their garden about 10 houses away - as luck would have it only thing hurt was me a broken finger (in the leads) and bruised pride! When we got home my first reaction was can't do three - but who to send back Archive no he wasn't a daybreaks, Breeze well she slipped her collar but then ran home cos all the barking and shouting upset her - so Jato who has had 95 races and was doing what she was trained for ? Well they are all still here and for a while after I put muzzles on - not for them but to relax me. Hugs to Roxy. Xxxx

Roxy's owners have contacted me to say they are not returning her. I am over the moon and can understand their initial reaction over the incident. It must be very scary..... I am grateful to them for giving her another chance x

Oh dear - poor little Roxy. Hope she is settling back in ok and is not to stressed. Milly sends her a big woof and a nose lick and says she is not keen on cats either!! xx

Hoping that Roxy will soon be rehomed. As the adopter of a returnee I can say that they tend to settle into a new home really easily. xxx

Oh, how sad, cannot begin to think about how confused she will be after nearly a year in a home. I don't know the story, just feel so sorry for Roxy, but better be back at Daybreaks where I am sure she will be found a new forever home again soon. Fingers crossed sweetie x

We took Roxy to the Great Global Greyhound Walk recently in Brueton Park. She was fine being surrounded by all the people and dogs and very interested in other types of dogs. She'll need some time to get to know smaller dogs but was still quite responsive to being talked to. She is a lovely sweetie.

What a sweet looking little hound. Love the name too - hope it doesn't get switched for something normal!

Great to hear Roxy's family are willing to give her another chance. We all make mistakes and sadly none of us are perfect. Xxx
