This gorgeous girl is such a star, she has been my rock while Ruby has been so poorly but thank fully Ruby is well on the mend now but this morning i had a very nasty fall up the kitchen step and although at first it frightened Jess she soon realised i needed help and ran upstairs crying and jumped straight on top of her dad to let him know i was in trouble, i have now recovered although have some really nice bruises and aches and pains, Jess is my angel in disguise and i love her to bits, greyhounds really are clever and such tender loving dogs xx

Happy 2nd gotcha day to our girl can't quite believe we have had her 2 years already, she is still scared of everything but copes with it now, loves her little sisters Ruby & Gracie (Jack Russells) especially Ruby she even stands over her while Ruby wee's, she has quite a funny character and we laugh everyday at the antics she gets up to but she is a very well behaved baby and we love her to bits xx

Jess wants to say thank you so much to Aunty Lorna for my pamper treatment, i was a little nervous but i now smell lovely so mommy says and my nails are nice and short going to try and get mommy to paint them for Christmas and hope that my brothers and sister in the kennels will like the new blankets and enjoy eating the fishies my hooman sister and mommy donated xx

Thank you so much to Auntie Ruth for trimming my nails and cleaning my teeth and to Auntie Jo for lifting me with my daddy so i didn't stress so much i feel a lot better now and mommy loves her new mug :) xx

Big Happy 5th Birthday to our girl Jess, had her 9 months now still very nervous especially around children and traffic but we are getting there slowly, now starting to ask for cuddles :) and jumping into bed with us

Was so proud of our Jess yesterday, we went on the beach and had her on a training lead for the first time, she wandered off at her own pace but when called she came straight back to our side, it was an awwww moment :)

We all had a lovely morning at the show Jess was really good even though she was scared of everything Little Gracie the jack russell came second in best waggiest tail, just a shame we had to come home early but Ruby has only just gotten over her operation and i think it was a bit too much for but we will be more prepared for the next 1 now we know what it's all about, hope you raise lots of lovely money and manage to sell the cards xx

Have a look at Thunder shirts (it works for other things but thunder) our Breeze is always much better with hers on. X

I totally understand now why when adopting a dog we are asked if we are having any building work done, we have had Jess nearly 4 months now and she is still terrified of bangs and bumps, neighbours have had some work done the last few days and Jess has found it really stressful we have done everything we can think of to help her, the best thing we found was her sitting in the birdroom at the bottom of the garden with me watching my birds so much so she decided to carry her food bowl down there without spilling a drop lol clever little thing, thank fully work should be finished tomorrow x

While on a short break to our caravan we decided to have a walk on the beach this morning.We always keep an eye open for any greyhounds so we were pleased to meet one today.We were delighted to see it was lovely little Jess with her family and she was busy dipping her paws in the sea.Paddy ever keen to say hello to any dogs was happy to exchange snuffles with everyone.It was great to see how much Jess(Rosie) has come on from the very frightened little dot I first saw at Daybreaks the day she arrived.It was like meeting a member of our greyt family and we hope to see you again sometime as it was lovely meeting you all xx

It was so lovely to meet Alan & Pam with the lovely Paddy on the beach this morning, what are the chances of that happening ! Jess was really good with all the other dogs and loved the walk in the sea but still very scared of children and of course this time of year kids everywhere lol so it was a short walk, hop to meet up again with gorgeous Paddy

Just little update on our first week anniversary Jess is really settling in well, comes to her name, has started playing with little Gracie and follows Ruby wherever she goes but today was the best as i had the most beautiful smile from her when i got up, she is still very nervous but we are getting there slowly, love her to bits :)

2nd night Jess was a little restless but when i got up this morning she was fast asleep with my shorts under her head little monkey had pinched them out the washing pile now claimed as her cuddle shorts lol

Hope it's going well with Jess. Having met her new sister Ruby, I'm looking forward to meeting little Jess too! X

I'm really glad that Jess (Rosie) had a good first night. My girls were pleased when we noticed your name change after Lisa told us that Rosie and Tess came from the same trainer. Lisa mentioned during the home visit yesterday that we could change the name from Tess to something else but we've decided to stick with Tess ...It seems appropriate that they'll now be known as Jess and Tess. Here's to another good night for Jess. Cx

I fell in love with this little girl when I went with Ruth to collect her, she is so like my Grey :) such cheeky eyes :). She was a little worried in the van when we had to wait at the vets and we opened the doors but she just took herself to the far end of her crate and lay down watching this new world. x

First night went really well, she slept in the hall wouldn't come upstairs didn't cry or have an accident went straight out and done her business this morning when we let her out, really pleased with her so far although she does keep growling at Ruby hopefully they will sort themselves out x

We briefly saw Rosie as we met Tess yesterday. She seemed so shy but her eyes were very inquisitive. I'm glad she's found her forever home-enjoy!!!

First day home and i'm amazed at how well all 3 dogs have taken to each other all have found there beds Ruby being the boss of course told her which bed was hers lol but all seems really good so far, Thank you to all at the Kennels for your help with finding our new baby see you Saturday x
