Oh thank you Kate, we not only have a gorgeous new addition to our family, he is a celebrity - Mr March too xx

We would just like to thank everyone for their lovely comments it means a lot. Alfie still has a way to go yet but with patience, commitment and training he will get there as is the case with hounds like Casey and Benny. It was also lovely to meet Lisa Baker and Niftys mom and dad so now we can put a face to the signing in name.xx

So very happy for Alfie! Although he is still quite a nervous lad, you can see how much more confident he is now. Thanks so, so much to his lovely Failed Foster family for giving him a wonderful home. Xxx

Awwwwww was lovely seeing Alfie going home today, he looks very proud to be with you all and I hope he continues to grow in confidence with you x

Really really proud of Jonny tonight!! Attended his second training class with 8 toy dogs comprising of terriors and spaniels. He showed no aggression at all in fact after 10 mins he decided it was time for a nap ????

Tasks completed were to walk around the outside of the other dogs and then off lead walk through the centre following us which he did without any problems. Another was to again off lead wait for 2 mins without losing attention, he managed 40 secs (a little work needed on that one). Another task which he did absolutely brilliant was to walk around the inner circle past the barking screeching Jack Russell which he did showing no aggression. The last one was a meet and greet again no aggression in fact he wasn't bothered ????

Everyone at the training have all commented how gorgeous Jonny is and one of them a man even managed to get a big fuss from Jonny, he was quite happy leaning against his leg.

With patience and some more training he will be the prefect companion

Fingers crossed for you Jonny. You are a gorgeous hound and deserve that forever sofa. xx

Lovely Jonny had a viewing today and a home check is being done next Saturday.... Here is keeping fingers crossed. X

Update on Jonny, he is making great progress overall. Still very nervous walking in the dark, but daylight walking is a lot calmer with traffic noises and his pulling is a lot better. We've even got him onto some foc training courses to help with his anxieties and he has put some weight on. He is starting to shine through being very fussy and loving his treats and he is totally clean in the house. He just needs a loving forever home.

Come on now Jonny, best paws forward, must be your turn next. Xxxxxxx

Jonny came with me into Solihull for a road show today. He jumped in the car easily and travelled very happily. I parked in Brueton park and so he got to have a stroll through the park beforehand. He meet several small dogs and wanted to say hello to all of them. One French pug didn't appreciate his friendliness and told him off! Jonny couldn't reverse quick enough!! Once in Mell Square he behaved impeccably and was a great advertisement for his breed. He lapped up all the fuss and attention and tried to go home with several people! It was a pleasure to take him out. Fingers crossed that he's in his forever home by his birthday x

Jonny is now on his own in his kennel after his pretty little kennel mate May went home today. He is such a lovely boy who is really doing well and loves the company of another dog, let's hope it's his turn for a new sofa very soon.xx

Jonny continues to grow in confidence. He danced out of his kennel this morning with a very waggy tail. :))) Xxx

Missing this lad loads, so glad he is staying with auntie Ruth at minute. Really wish we could fit 4 in the car, but its just not possible :-(

We visited the kennels today to take some tinnies, that's fish not alcohol and had our Ellie and Gracie's claws clipped by the lovely Lisa. We met Jonny who loved the fuss and attention from me, my 12 yr old son and Steve but apparently, Jonny doesn't like men well that didn't show with Steve. One thing I did notice, Jonny had his eyes fixed on Lisa while she clipped our girls claws. I think he is smitten bless him.

Jonny is doing so well, he loves fuss, cuddles, walks and food.No longer timid... He really needs his forever sofa with a sister or brother to play with.... He will be going back to the kennels Sunday as I have to go back to work next week. He would make a fantastic addition to any family. He will be at the kennels this weekend for viewing. Just give us a call. X

I have just uploaded a new pic of Jonny in his current position !!! All legs in the air. He would make someone a FAB pet... Please someone adopt this loveable rogue.

Jonny's first night went very well, with not a peep from him. We were greated this morning with a waggy tail and play bows...even if you have only popped upstairs briefly. He's not overly keen on dog treat biscuits, but LOVES cheese. He is strong on the lead at first but then settles into a happy trot. He is clean in the house and LOVES other dogs, so in my opinion he needs another dog to live with (it doesn't have to be a greyhound as he loves my Labrador and follows my greyhound boy Torres everywhere... He is good with small dogs and just wants lots of ear rubs and fuss.. He comes up to all of us here for fuss, it just takes him a few hours to suss you out first. So with time, patience, cheese and another dog he will be well happy. Please someone chose this boy. X

Well done big fella, sounds like you are enjoying your stay with Aunty Lisa & her crew, and certainly benefitting from it too. My Shane also used to sit for a treat, it's a very clever trick to learn as it often gets you extra goodies!! Keep up the good work poppet, and lets hope a new home with a furry friend for company will be yours soon. x

The handsome Jonny is staying with me for a few days as kennel life really doesn't suit him. Its also a chance for him to get used to a very busy household of 6 people (3 children) and 3 other resident dogs. He is good with other breeds... If you want to meet this spotty boy, give the kennels a call. X

It takes some hounds longer to settle than others especially if they are an only dog. My first grey took about 3 months to settle and even then he got us up every nigyht for the 8 years we had him. Never ever did I think of giving him up despite the bags under my eyes and the zombie demeanor throughout the day!

Oh no Jonny!! So sad to see this beautiful little face back again! Such a shame things didn't work out but hoping you'll soon find a home that is perfect for you. Sending you our love xxx

Very sad to see Jonny back. He came out for a walk with Casey this afternoon and was a pleasure to be with as ever.

Last week we met him out on a walk and he really took a dislike to Casey and stared at him all the way back to the kennels. A real character!

Wow! What a very handsome boy Jonny is! He is quite shy at the moment but I am sure we will soon see his real character. We were a little short of space during feeding time this morning, so he helped me to put fresh water in the sand run and empty the poo bin! Bless him. Xxx
