I arrived at Daybreaks this morning to be greeted by my old friend Sunny who was being pampered by Laura. Its so nice for us volunteers when our old favourites come back and we can see how happy they are in their forever homes. I am sure he remembered me as we spent some time together like old times. After he had enjoyed some fun in the sand run, we said goodbye and I made sure he went home with something tasty to crunch. Hopefully it won't be too long before we meet again. I would have loved to have taken you home 5 years ago but couldn't, but its lovely to see you so loved by your family xx

Alan, that's such lovely news! I know you would really have loved to take him home. At least you know he is a happy boy in his new home. Xxx

I was so pleased to see my dear old friend Sunny today at Stratford. I'm sure you remembered me too as you came bounding up to say hello. Your looking lovely and clearly you are very happy and much loved in your forever home. Its made my Christmas to have seen you,I remember all the fun times we had sitting in your kennel and the lovely walks we had together at Brueton park. Hope to see you again soon,lots of hugs and Paddy sends his bestest nose snuffles too xx

I am amazed that super lovable funtastic Sully is still waiting for his forever home. When I visit Daybreaks he is the first hound I look for. I love everything about him. When his chance comes along whoever adopts this lad will be getting one hell of a gem. He's friendly and loving with a bit of playful cheekyness. He's a gentle boy when meeting other dogs,I still have fond memories of him meeting the french bulldog puppy at Brueton park. I love all our hounds but this lad is very very special xx

I second your comment about Sully. I have read all the comments left by the people who have met him and spent time walking him or in his kennel for a "huggle" and there is not one negative point made about this lovely boy. Just look at his photos. He is soooooooooo cute. Fat neck Finn got us just in time or Sully could be in his bed now LOL

This boy is fabulous, he's a fun loving affectionate lad just happy to have company. He has a cheeky playful side too but he's also well mannered. Sully is just a super super hound just waiting for his chance. Please someone give this lad a home, I'm sure you won't regret it. The only thing that shocks me about him is that he's still waiting! I love everything about him xx

We have been trying in vain to get hold of Sully's new owners since their home visit but with no luck. He has therefore been unreserved and hopefully someone out there will really want to give him a home.... such a shame his life has been put on hold for a several weeks :-(((((((

Sully was really good with my collie Louis in the kitchen today. Think Louis was a little less impressed with Sully's overenthusiastic tail wagging! Such a happy lad! x

Today I had the pleasure of walking Sully round Brueton Park again on the GGGW. This boy is a delight to be with, he's got a zest for life and loves to be out and about. He has excellent manners and greets everyone and all dogs like a gentleman. Today he met a French bulldog puppy who he greeted with a wagging tail and a gentle sniff nose to nose. He saw some off lead dogs running today but again although he looked at them there was no reaction from him at all he was just happy to be out on the walk. Whoever adopts this lad will be getting a super addition to their family. Sully is a happy,friendly and affectionate and an all round super hound. His lovely black coat sparkled in the summer sun today too. i just love him xx

Had the pleasure of taking this boy for a walk on Saturday and it was a real treat. Sully is a handsome big boy and has a delightful balance of enthusiasm and good manners.

Hi everyone,Sully here. I am very greytful for Alan taking me to the Brueton Park Walk today. I had a super time finding my way out in the big wide world. I did find myself getting a bit excited when I first came out of my kennel but this didn't last too long and I soon settled down in the car on my to the park. We had a lovely walk round with many of my hound friends.I did see some funny dogs who were small and not greyhounds running around, I gave them all a slight glance and carried on uninterested in them as I had so much to see and many wees to do! When we stopped on the way round I made sure I did plenty of leaning in true greyhound style. Well i'm relaxing now back in my kennel after a long drink. I did hear people say what a good boy I was,well I won't argue with that. I just want to be someones best friend,why not come and see me and maybe we can go for walks.
