Monty and his lovely sister Millie came in for a visit today. Monty looked fantastic. He is a very happy lad and just wanted to say "Hello" to everyone. Xxx

Sam is now called Rollo, and officially became a member of the household today, keeping our Milly company since we lost Oscar earlier in the year.
He is adorable, such a cuddle monster and is gradually getting used to life in a home rather than kennels. Safe to say he loves cheese, chicken, ham and pilchards, who'd have thought.... :)

I took Sam to the roadshow at Mell Square yesterday.
He travelled very well and settled quickly. On the lead he is obviously a sturdy dog, but had no issues with pulling even when he spotted small fluffy things and children. Although an empty packet of Doritos blowing in the wind seemed to catch his eye.
During the roadshow he met lots of children and was very friendly.
From spending just half a day with Sam I can say he would be a great addition to any home.

I took Sam to the vets for his neutering operation this morning. He was so happy to be going out and jumped into the car. Sat down most of the way, only getting up to see what was going on when we stopped at traffic lights. When we arrived at the vets he met a small dog in the waiting room who decided he would growl and bark, very loudly at Sam. Sam was a perfect gentleman and just stood wagging his tail. :)) He was very wobbly when Ruth and I picked him up this afternoon but managed to eat his dinner when he returned to the kennels :)) He is a lovely big lad with a big heart Xxx

Sorry...... Had not finished (or spell checked last comment before accidentally hitting 'add'). As I was saying, we carried on walking and all of a sudden a whippet staffy cross on a long lead jumped off one of the barges followed closely by its owners. Sam didn't bat an eyelid and stood lapping up all the attention from both the people and dog!! Considering this dog appeared out of no where, Sam's lack of reaction was amazing. We walked a little further, where we met a small fluffy dog. He was a bit bouncy with this dog but I think it was just because she didn't want to play and he couldn't understand why. He walked and travelled beautifully. He settled immediately in the car and had a waggy tail for everyone he met . Like I said, he's an absolute star xx

Sam came out for a walk with me this afternoon along the canal. He was an absolute star. We hadn't been walking for very long when a barking staffy charged at us. My heart was in my mouth as I genuinely thought this dog was going to attack. Sam however took it all in his stride and just stood there. The staffy stopped just past us and came to sniff Sam. He turned his head to have a look at him but that was the extent of his interest. We carried on walking only to be confronted by a whopper staffy
