Renamed Fisher and has been as good as gold so far.
After being told NO when the family were eating he returned to his bed and watched.

Oh wow! I am so happy for Roary, he was so so lovely when I saw him at the kennels a couple of times, have a happy long life in Bristol sweet boy. The one thing that would have me shouting with joy now would be for NICK to have the same luck. He must have survived that awful accident for a reason and fought his way back to health with the care Daybreaks gave him.A special person out there must have been selected by the Greyhound Guardian Angel to give and receive the love this boy could bring into their life. Please Please let him race into your heart. x

Oh Roary I can’t describe how happy I am to see that green sign. Just don’t know how it took that long. You really deserve it. Good luck in your retirement! Xx

Roary had a great day at the show, he loved saying hello to all the different breeds and trying to get as many cuddles as he can! He jumped happily in the car with Brandy and Fluff fluff, we met up with ‘jetlucy’ and you had fun in the ring in best matched brace - sadly we didn’t catch the judges attention throughout the day for any big rosettes but we did get a special rosette. Everyone who knows Roary will know he loves toys and he did steal one from the trust stand - trying to play with it through his muzzle! He was great with all people , children including and he would really settle into any home given the chance. Fingers crossed your home is around the corner! Xx

Oh roary, roary, roary, why are you still in kennels? We did the best brace with you at the show today and what a perfect gentleman you were! It was my jet been the goon and jumping around when walking for the judge, you just happily plodded along just happy to be there. Unfortunately we didn't get a rossete but don't know why as you were both pretty identically marked but I saw you later with a special rossete which you most certainly are. The lady who had brought you said you had had no real interest at the kennels but can't understand for the life of me why. From what I saw you're a golden boy who should 100% be given a chance. I was giving you lots of kisses and you have totally pulled on my heart strings. Please someone out there be the lucky ones to take this boy home, he'll be well worth it! Lots of love xxxxxx

I was very happy to walk Roary for a little while in Brueton Park. What a lovely boy. He is very good on the lead too. He certainly enjoyed the event and was so comfortable walking with Kitty and Moe, even if he did not know them. Big hugs to Roary, you seem a wonderful greyhound.

Roary had a lovely walk at Brueton today, he jumped straight into the car and off we went! He loved saying hi to everyone, we passed various sized non greys and Roary didn’t even bat an eyelid, we passed squirrels too. The only thing that seemed to get his attention were the people playing tennis - haha. This lad really deserves a home as he’s been in kennels long enough, he is such a cuddle monster and gets on with everyone he meets. He was a joy to walk xxx

Roary today visited Elmdon Park behaving well with all other
breeds he met and walking well on the lead.
He's a lovely friendly lad who will be a great addition to any
family home.

I do hope Roary finds his forever home soon, he has been waiting very patiently for that someone special to notice him and realise he is special too! He and kennel mate Honey "helped" me to make their bed this morning. Roary kept taking the hand broom off me, but I don't think he intended on doing any sweeping with it! :)) He also took the blanket off me and jumped on the bed with it. He and Honey then proceeded to make the bed their own way! It looked erm, sort of comfy!! Xxx

Roary has turned out to be such a lovely dog no, sign of the sad stressy dog who arrived at the kennel last month. He enjoys cuddles, is interested in all the coming and goings and really enjoys his walks. He and Honey get along so well together. xxx
Thursday 30 Aug 20:23
What a huge difference from when he first arrived in the kennels. He is very handsome and was sharing so nicely with the delightful Honey. They do look lovely together. xx Another grey who enjoys a cuddle - who knew xxx

It was lovely to see how Roary has settled. He loves human company. He is quite strong on the lead still but I think that the more he is walked the easier he will get, it is all quite new and interesting for him xxx
Monday 13 Aug 22:29
A big cuddle for Roary tonight. He is a very happy, lively lad. He was quite stressed when he arrived at the kennels but is settling down quite well now. He has been on the waiting list to come into the Trust for a long time....he deserves a special forever home. Xxx
