Oh no Dewey! How dare they.... I would make sure that you look at the spot where your bed should be and then at your slaves, repeat at least 20 times. Hopefully they will take the hint and get you a new bed for your daytime spot, it worked for me as I now have 3 indoor dog beds, use of the sofa, use of a chair, use of the guest bed in TCs study and an outdoor dog bed! Good luck with the slave training. Florence xxx

Keep working on your staff Dew, sometimes training takes a while, but they'll get it eventually. Love to you and your family. Xx
Monday 18 Nov 16:21
Dewey, so very pleased that you are doing well. I think as Kate said you need to work on your staff, completely unacceptable that one of your beds has not been moved to the day position. Your staff need to be brought into line, honestly, I mean, your bed in the wrong place, what sort of hotel is this?? Really!!!

Hi Dewey, so lovely to hear from you! So happy you have settled into your new home. I am sure if you work on them, your staff will get their act together and move your bed a lot quicker! :)))
Just qive them a "Paddington Hard Stare" :))) Xxx

Well I have been here for a few weeks now and I am very happy. One of the walks we go on is round the quarry and I have an admirer called Boss he is a very handsom lurcher. I have one comment on the staff, with the cold weather I have been having a lie in before breakfast then going for a trot round the garden. Now Sunny and I have only two beds each and when I come back in my bed has not been moved into the day position. Do you think this is acceptable?

I spoke to Dewey's family today. She is doing great! She and Sonny are getting along really well. She is enjoying her walks and her food and is getting braver when meeting new people. She is loved very much. :)) Xxx

It was with mixed emotions I watched little Dew Drop go home today. I will really miss her, it has been lovely watching her grow in confidence over the last few months. She has a lovely new family and a super new fury friend. Sending her my cuddle and lots of love tonight. Xxx

We had the pleasure of taking little Dewey to Daybreaks Dog Show today and what a brilliant girl she was,she jumped in the van and settled down with Nifty n Cilla,at the show she was a little timid but walked nicely with our 2 and just had a lean on any of us when feeling nervous. With a home of her own we are sure she will flourish with a bit of time,oh and Mark was a little taken with her shes so cute,so sending a cuddle to you Dewey hope you had a nice day out with us love Tanya,Mark,Nifty n Cilla xx
Sunday 13 Oct 00:25
Willis went off to his new home today, which leaves our little Dew Drop on her own. :(( We feel she would need the company of another dog to help boost her confidence. She will be at the Dog Show tomorrow if you would like to meet her. Xxx
Sunday 06 Oct 19:45
I walked Dewey this afternoon. She is growing in confidence. Willis was on the walk too but she wasn't glued to his side like she used to be. She's such a sweetheart. I hope she finds her forever home with Willis very soon. Good luck. x
Thursday 26 Sep 15:29
Dewey makes me smile everytime I go into her kennel. She's so excited to be going out, nudging Willis out of the way. She is a lot more confident than she was and dare I say even a little bossy! She is a pretty little girl and walked so nicely by my side on a slack lead. Back in her kennel and straight up onto her bed for a nap, didn't even get a chance to give her a cuddle. Xxxxxx
Thursday 12 Sep 16:02
Dewey seems to be gaining in confidence every time I see her. She was interested in everything on her walk this afternoon. She was happy to walk with Willis, Elmer and Cleo. She's not bothered which dog or human she uses to try and get her muzzle off!!! Xxx
Sunday 08 Sep 07:43
I so wish this beautiful duo could find a home together, they have been a Daybreaks long enough and they need a sofa to share, keeping my fingers crossed they get to stay together xxxxxx
Tuesday 27 Aug 19:04
Big cuddles Dewey so sorry I can't take you beutiful girl xx
Monday 26 Aug 19:28
This little girl has come such a long way in a few weeks. When I first met her she would stay on the bed showing no emotion although she let me stroke her & take her into the sand run. Today she was bouncing at me, wagging her tail & much more confident!! She allowed me to watch whilst she ate & she & her hubby Mr. Wills walked beautifully for me. They are a perfect pairing and if my house wasnt full I would have them both in a heartbeat!! I think it would be very unfair to separate them and so hopefully there is a home out there that can accommodate this lovely couple. Well done Dew Drop....keep up the good work. Xx
Thursday 22 Aug 21:43
Oh my it really is sad, you are so pretty, hopefully when the holidays finish you and Mr Willis will have your forever home xx
Thursday 15 Aug 16:41
Oh my, what a beautiful new photo of the lovely Dewey - supported by her kennel mate Mr Willis. This little girl is so sweet but so wary of the world still - she will retreat if things get too overwhelming for her. She definitely needs doggy company to show her the way - and you've got to admit, a brindle couple would be fab!!
Thursday 15 Aug 15:25
Aw Dewey walked so confidently, leading most of the way
When we turned round she made sure Willis wasn't far behind then off she trotted again xxxx
Saturday 10 Aug 09:51
Oh dear how are still with your kennel friends ,I would love to have you but we have one greyhound Orla,we go on holiday September and hubby is not quite sure, I look most days to see you and I always hope you have found your forever home xx
Wednesday 07 Aug 18:55
Just looked at her data and she's half sister to our Skip! That being said, Vans Escalade was a prolific sire and has many offspring! We were discussing this on a greyhound forum yesterday (Retired Greyhound Chat). There were a lot of posts from people whose greys' Dad was Vans Escalade.
Dewey is such a sweetie. She was really shy when we took her into the sand run a few weeks ago. I walked her on Sunday and she walked beautifully. She even walked independently from Willis some of the time although it's evident she adores him and homing them together would be amazing. Fingers crossed that won't be long. x
Wednesday 07 Aug 00:07
Dewey is doing well :) We get a very waggy tail from her when it's walk or dinner time. She and Willis are great for each other. :)) Xxx
Tuesday 06 Aug 20:19
Ah we love the look of Dewey how is she doing this week lots of cuddles
Monday 05 Aug 20:52
It was a real pleasure to meet this little girl today. She stood patiently while I got her lead, muzzle, tracker and cool coat on her and then she walked beautifully with Willis. She is a very pretty girl. Cuddles for her xxx
Monday 29 Jul 23:30
Our little dew drop is much happier than the sad little girl who came back to the kennels recently. She greeted us this morning with a waggy tail and was happy to come out of her kennel to have her breakfast and dinner. She is always looking to Willis for support. If he goes up to say hello to someone she will follow. He is a real gentleman. They do make a lovely couple! It would be wonderful if they could find a home together! :)) Xxx
Tuesday 23 Jul 23:00
Dewey is a little brighter than she was when she arrived a few days ago. She got off her bed and came to greet us with Willis when we opened up the kennels this morning. She doesn't like to eat out in the run but is happy to have her meal in the kennel and then come out to go to the toilet. once she is out, she does enjoy going for walks with the other dogs. :)) Xxx
Friday 19 Jul 00:15
Dewey is such a lovely little girl, she is rather nervous with everything at the moment and not eating too well but hopefully she will soon settle back into the kennel environment. We have paired her up with our wonderfully gorgeous lad Willis. He has been great with her so far and she seems to like him. Anyone who has met Willis knows what a gentle giant he is....Dewey has the big bed to herself and he has the smaller raised bed! He is the perfect gentleman. They make a very handsome couple indeed. Fingers crossed they continue to get on well together. Xxx
Tuesday 16 Jul 21:52
Oh sweetheart I am so sorry to hear this, you are so beautiful I am sure the right home is out there waiting for you, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx
Tuesday 16 Jul 21:33
Very sadly Dewey has been returned to the kennels today. Despite every effort from her family over the last few months, Dewey hasn't settled with them and they feel she is unhappy and have asked if we can find her a home in which she feels more comfortable. They were very upset things haven't worked out for them all but feel it's the right thing to do for Dewey. Xxx
Sunday 07 Oct 17:54
Have fun in your new home Dewey!

Lovely little Dew walked so nicely this afternoon. She did get a little excited by a squirrel, but once it disappeared she soon settled. She is interested in whats going on and enjoys having her ears stroked. xx
Tuesday 25 Sep 18:45
