I am just so very sad to read this, I had a bit of a soft spot for this gorgeous boy, I am so so sorry for your loss, he was taken way too soon, but at least you were all together for the last year. Rummy sweetheart, run fast and free, a special star shining bright in the sky. Much love to you xxxx

It's always sad to hear news of the loss of a much loved pet, but when they are so young it somehow seems even harder. I remember Rummy a lovely, friendly boy and send thanks to his family for giving him love for the last year of his life. Xxxx

We have received a very sad email from Rummy's family. They have said they are happy for us to add it to his page.

"Rummy was the light of our life for the past 12 months and we could not have dreamed up a better boy. Unfortunately a couple of days ago he was diagnosed with acute leukaemia and was gone within 24 hours. I just wanted to say thank you for helping us find such a fantastic companion and couch hog and pass along the bad news. We will definitely continue to home Greyhounds in the future thanks to our experience with Rummy and we are so happy we could give him an amazing final year of his life."

Come on prospective owners do not over look this lad I have his half brother and he is one of the loveliest dogs I have ever had the privilege to have in my life. Temperament fantastic, never had any problems with small breeds of dog, and real gentleman. If Rummy is half as good you as Jed you will have a lovely companion.

No wonder I was drawn to this lad he is Jed’s half brother. Oh boy is someone going to get an absolute gem if he is like Jed.

I had the pleasure of collecting this lad and boy what a stunner. Pure black and very proud. His tail never stopped wagging the whole time I was with him. After such a lot of races he deserves a nice rest in his forever home. I have a feeling he won't wait too long,I love him already xx
