To fellow Tribe members....I'm gutted - our fundraising Easter Parade where I was going to enter as a daffodil has been cancelled. My 4 legged mum is gutted that her Mother's Day Lunch and VE Day Tea Dance have been cancelled too because of mean old Corona Virus....

I was hoping to go on our roadshows to show how naughty - I mean how great greyhounds can be but I'm staying at home now because they are all cancelled too..... That means no fundraising to look after the dogs at Daybreaks.

I haven't got any pocket money after Crufts so can you help me please.......and as I can't go out - mum won't let me busk... any donation of any amount will make a difference..... and make my mummy happy Thank you

We took a deep breath yesterday evening and let Tiggy off the lead in a field for the first time!!!! She ran into the distance to investigate the furthest corner.... obviously to make my heart race and slight panic enter my yells of TIGGGGGGGEEEERRRRRRRR but she came back and in one piece YAY!

I have cooked bacon for her tonight and we are going for round two! You would never believe she had been through major surgery on her leg earlier this year! It will take a while before I pluck up courage to let Momma off as she is so flighty but for now she gets to use the sand run at the kennels when I am able to get there :-)

Our little Tigger is doing so well. She goes weekly for her screws to be tightened on the pins through her leg and puts up with daily pin cleaning and constant wearing of her cone.... hence she is now has the nick name conehead! Our lovely French students have been helping clean her pins and I have added a photo..... They whisper je t'aime to her which is so sweet ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! xxxxxx

Happy 1st Birthday to our special little girl! She sadly spent the day at the vets having her leg x-rayed. There is slight infection in the bone but overall she is doing really well.

We are massively grateful to Chris and all at Fivelands Vets for all their help with Tig. Her surgery has been done for a fixed cost of £2600. If she had been treated elsewhere, this would have been in the region of £9,000 to £10,000!!!!! Thank you FIVELANDS!

Little Miss Tigger had surgery on her leg yesterday to straighten it. It was a nerve wracking day but when we collected her at 6.30pm she was already up and about and trying to weight bear!! Our big challenge will be keeping her still but today she has been golden and has lay in the office and been so brave.

The Tigger Monster has been keeping me company at home as I have not been well and she thought it would be great to help with the gardening and re-arranging plants from the garden to the bedroom..... erm.... not that I was too pleased!!!!!

Today while I was at the doctors she decided the vase with daffodils looked better re-arranged on the sofa along with a wooden coaster..... can I just say that Daffodils are dangerous for dogs but she is still alive - she just played with them rather than ate them!

She had x-rays on Tuesday which showed her leg growth plates are almost closed so her op has been been scheduled for the 21st May. She is going to hydrotherapy tomorrow which will hopefully wear her out - keep your fingers crossed for my sanity!!!!! :-)

Tiger Pupdate! My little monster is going in to Fivelands under the expert care of Chris Lancelot tomorrow and what is done will be dependent on the x-rays.

If x-rays show that the growth plates are still open, a 2cm section will be removed from her ulnar. If the growth plates are closed, the radius will be cut and rotated and an external fixator used.... she will look bionic!!!!

It is a learning curve for me and I have learnt that as 80% of weight bearing occurs on the radius she will be absolutely fine losing a section out of her ulnar!

I have added a photo of her with her Momma in the car today - love how Momma has her paw on her.... they are always laying on or washing each other x

Wish her luck and me some sanity tomorrow!!!!

Tigger monster Pupdate! After Tig had x-rays a week ago, Chris at Fivelands has been busy building a titanium external framework in preparation for her operation to straighten her leg. Chris will give me a call and get her in within the next few weeks as her leg is becoming more deformed and already one leg measures 17 inches and the other 20 and it is feared she will start to develop problems with her shoulder.

However despite the deformity, it does not stop her being a total fruitcake and she is living life to the full.... however the thought of trying to keep her quiet once she has her op is making me gulp........ ha ha! xxxx

Pupdate! Little one went to Fivelands yesterday and photos of her leg were taken and X-rays will be booked to see what’s going on. She has already learnt her name and is loving her new playground.... our lounge!!!! She is so sweet x

I met this little sweetie this morning. She's a very pretty girl and loves her fuss. She doesn't seem bothered by her wonky wrist but it looks like it'll need some attention as she grows and gets heavier and puts more weight on it. I'll be happy to help with any physio she needs :) xx
