Annie was a little shy of her new Mom and Dad when she met them today but it was so sweet to see her follow them around the run when she thought they were not looking at her! Xxx

So glad for Annie. When we visited she was on our four dog shortlist but the poor poppet was just petrified despite our best efforts to win her over. On the upside it meant we ended up choosing Betty.

Annie and molly was very loving today with lots of kisses and hugs they also walk very nice today

I walked Annie today, I haven't walked her for a while. She really is a lovely dog, who just needs her forever home and a little bit of consistent one to one training. She is very loving and very pretty. Big cuddles xxx

Annie was such a good girl on her walk this morning. She's always happy to see you when you go in to lead her up and greets you with a waggy tail. She's really ready to give her love to someone now and get cosy on her forever sofa x

Annie caught my attention today for sitting like a proper dog! She's straight over for some cuddles and fuss when you go past her kennel. Fingers crossed that she doesn't have to wait much longer for her forever home x

Annie didn’t like meeting my dogs today she was not impressed at all but never mind she will still have her love when I’m in on a Monday and a Thursday

Tuck Annie in the sand pit to day and she played lovely and also she walked lovely today and I’ve had loves and kisses

Had some lovely kisses off anni today she so happy when I’m when you give her your attention cont wait till I’m back in on Thursday to have more kisses and cuddle

Annie joined me again to the walk a Brueton Park, we had a lovely walk with lots of other greys.
Annie travels well in the car as usual, once we arrived at the park we met all the greys where she interacts beautifully. However we then had some non greyhounds Annie did her usual jumping and leaping around :(.

We managed to walk round the park, we would stand still when another breed was near and this seemed to control her reactivity. By the end of the walk we were able to walk past dogs which were on the lead and calm with only a stare rather than her leaping about. However if they are off lead, then she reacts.

Fingers crossed over time she can get used to non greys and find her perfect home in the mean time xxx

Annie has been a little down on the dumps since her last kennel mate Blossom went off to her new home. We have paired her up with the delightful Charisma. Touch wood they seem to be getting along fine. Xxx

Annie joined myself and Lucy - along with Ellie belly. For a walk in Elmdon.

We had a lovely walk around the pond and back up the hill, we passed various sized off lead dogs. In which Annie found very exciting! We then passed some Swans and their babies which she must’ve sensed not to go too close too.

By the end of the walk we managed to walk past some small dogs, with out too much of a reaction but Annie needs someone to help her adjust to the outside world.
I will try and take her out more often - she will join myself on the Brueton walk on the 28th July. :)

Annie came to Elmdon Park with me today. She was a bit nervous about getting in the car initially but managed it no problems in the way back. She loves being out and is interested in everything. She needs more outings into the big wide world as she does get quite excited when she sees other dogs. However, as they say, practice makes perfect. She enjoys a good fuss and seems to get on really well with her kennel mate Blossom. Good luck little girl x

Oh someone please give this little girl her own sofa I log in most nights hoping to see her reserved. She has waited long enough.

Little Annie had a trip to the vets yesterday. She was a very brave girl, she travels well in the car. Although needs some encouragement into the boot (she’s only a tiny girl!).

She jumped out the car no problems! She was so brave as the vet looked at her bite wound, I’m sure she’ll be back to her happy self in no time!

Little Annie really loves company of other greys, she just needs to find the right one xxxx

I walked Annie today and she was a good girl on the lead she was looking around for little friends that run up trees lol

Had a great time with the dogs today loved it can’t wait till Thursday when I’m back with them thanks to all the staff that made me welcome

As kennel mate Harry went home yesterday we paired Annie up with Dessy. When I checked on the cameras last night they were happily sharing the bed :) We really need to find Annie a home as soon as possible before she gets a bad name....well she has had several boyfriends recently, what will people think!! :)) Xxx

Annie, Annie, Annie... this little bundle of energy is so much fun!
She accompanied me on the GGGW at Brueton Park. She travels well in the car, sitting comfortably in the boot (she did need to be picked up into the boot - however on the way back to the kennels, she jumped straight in!). Annie finds the park very exciting, making sure she was up at the front of the pack!
She really needs an experienced owner to help her with her socialisation skills with other breeds, especially the fluffy small ones! I’m sure with the help of volunteers taking her out to the park she’ll soon understand they’re just dogs :) xx

It's great that Thena now has her forever home but Annie looked so sad after Thena left. She was looking around her kennel and staring at me with sad eyes. She's so gorgeous. Please would someone give her a home. She's improving on the lead and I'm sure her overall confidence will grow when she's settled with a family (perhaps with another grey for company). Fingers crossed. x

Surely it must be Annie's turn next, please somebody give this lovely girl a chance, she has been so patient, she so needs a home to call her own xxxxxxxx

A big cuddle for little Annie tonight. She has been with us since February waiting for her forever home. She is a happy little soul and great friends with kennel mate Thena :) She was too nervous to donate blood yesterday; the noise of the hair clippers frightened her. :( She needs a lovely family who can help her with the big wide world. Xxx

Adorable Annie had a lovely walk this afternoon. Back in the kennel she happily shares with the equally gorgeous Thena they were both more than pleased to have kisses and cuddles. Both dogs are very friendly and very gentle xxxxx

I had the pleasure of walking lovely Annie today on morning kennel walks. She's a small girl (compared to my boys anyway). She was very eager to go for her walk and was quite strong initially and pulled a bit (zig-zagging) but soon settled once her initial energy had gone. She wasn't phased by the cars going down the road past us. When we passed a house with a dog, older children and bikes she stopped to have a look but with some distraction techniques and getting her to walk on, she was fine. No problems with the heavy traffic on the main road. Hopefully this sweetheart will find her forever home soon.
