Cara is such a tiny little girl and oh so very sweet. Wishing her lots of happiness in her new home. Thanks so much to Shirley and Richard for fostering her and taking care of her after her tail operation. Sure they will miss having her around. Sending Cara a big cuddle tonight. Xxx

Cara had a check on her tail this morning. The vet seems happy with how it is healing and has said to leave it open to the air now. Just got to make sure she leaves it alone although so far she doesn't seem to be bothered. I do hope the hair starts to grow on her tail soon though because at the moment it looks quite rude!

Our Diddy awakes us around 4.30 5am every morn. I’m an early riser so no probs as he just likes to be cuddled.first night I slept downstairs for him but he went upstairs with Pete.left me like a lemon!! He won’t even try stairs.he stays down with Ellie but we hear his lovely calling at stated times. Just to say he is 1 of 4. Sometimes u have to adapt to THEIR needs. Best of luck but remember we are thereto see to their needs. If we could take 5 we would.love to all owners Jackie

Just a quick update about Cara. She is still being a good girl, clean in the house and has been fine with our three, both over night and when left for a short time while we have been out. So much so that we have put the cage away. She is settling into living in a home well.
One thing she does do, is to wake us quite early in the morning, but we think that this is because she is getting used to a lot of new noises, so it should be something she will get used to.
I think she should into home life well and since she is a little dot wont take up a lot of room.
Another check at the vets tomorrow on her tail so will report back on that tomorrow.

Cara is a beautiful happy freindly little girl x she is looking so well after all her problems with her poorly tailx i wish we had room for her

Cara has been with us for two days now, so thought I had better give an update on her. When we brought her home on Thursday, she had just returned form the vets, but was really quite lively. Poor little soul has had to loose most of her tail, only has a little stump left, but was not neutered as vet wanted to wait rather than put her through both procedures at the same time.
She is an inquisitive little girl, looking into everything but so far not been destructive in any way. Likes to follow you about to see what you are up to.
She doesn't seem keen on being left on her own and has cried at night until one of our three when downstairs to keep her company, but then settles down.
Just left her with Cello, not in cage or with muzzle while we walked our other two and everything was fine when we got back.
She has been clean in the house, soon learnt where the door is and lets us know when she needs to go out.
She will need to learn some manners when it comes to food, although from what we have seen so far I think this is something she will be able to learn.
Not seen enough other dogs or cats on walks so far to be able to comment.
One little apology to any new home, we were not going to encourage her to climb the stairs, but being a clever little girl she has worked it out all by herself.
All in all I think she should settle into a home well, but would probably enjoy some company, both human and maybe another grey.

How is this lovely girl getting on? She was such a sweetie when I met her during the week.

Big hug for this special little girl tonight. She is going to the vets for her neutering operation in the morning. He is also going to look at her tail and decide what's the best thing to do with it. She is the sweetest little dot and loves to wag that tail! Xxx

Cara is a very sweet little girl. Sadly she came in with a very sore tail end which bled profusely when she had a bath. I am very grateful to Myra for keeping her calm while I tried to stop it bleeding. :( I took her to see the vet later this afternoon, she has antibiotics and a review on Thursday. Poor lass. Xxx
