Covii (Lou/Sunny), has settled in very nicely. She is such a cutie and loves her squeaky toys, we may have to hide them when we want to watch TV!!! Clean and quiet through the night and prefers the sofa to her own bed. Looking forward to seeing her personality come out over the next few days, she is such a beauty xx

Lou came on our Mell Square awareness day today by our volunteer Nick. She did really well with everyone and only took slight interest in the pigeons

Huge thanks to Norman for taking my beautiful Lou on a lovely outing this morning. I wholeheartedly agree with his comments - she is a little sweetheart who likes nothing better than to snooze with her legs in the air, but then also enjoys a mad five minutes of zoomies & playing toys - prior to more snoozing upside down of course!!

Really hope the right home comes along for her very soon, but in the meantime she gets my extra big cuddle tonight. xx

Sadly Lou was returned to Daybreaks one month ago as she was not suited to living in a home with small children.
On her first visit since to Brueton park she proved conclusively what a lovely temperament she has.
She met close up dogs of all sizes with no problems whatever. She jumped into the car without assistance and travelled well. She also behaved well on the lead although like lots of greyhounds squirrels caught her attention!!!
A very sweet affectionate girl she is certainly ready for her new home and one with a relatively quiet lifestyle would probably suit her best.

Lovely Lou really enjoys human company and toothpaste!!!!. She is so beautiful and has a very gentle manner. Kisses for her xxxxx

Lou is a pretty, dainty little girl, very well behaved, a pleasure to walk she enjoys walking with the other hounds, but is equally happy to have cuddles in her kennel xxxxxx

My flipping phone is playing up!!! As I was saying....... doshy poos were not pleasant characters & those who were nice were not rich!! As I tried explaining to the boys today once they spied me trying secretly to put lots of yummies in their £1 stockings they have no chance of me makingvthem rich & eligible......especially after my rather expensively put together Sat eve!!!! Fergie'sickle ears were standing on end & Teddy just keptvwagging his tail!! I swear that child has permanent duracell in him somewhere. Tell Lyra that a kind gentle giving & sharing soul is much better than lots of dosh. That is what I have learned. Xx

Oooh, Teddy's tail is wagging with anticpation!! Maybe a possibility then. I dont blame Lyra but tell have been waiting all my life & all the ones with lots of dishh poos

Hi Seana, Lou may well be fine with others in a home environment....sometimes they just need a little more space :)) Poor Teddy, have spoken to Lyra but she says she is waiting for a millionaire to sweep her off her feet and take her somewhere warm and sunny where she can play with her ball and not get muddy! :))
