Penny has been returned to the kennels sadly due to circumstances beyond the owner's control. She is a real sweetie and loves her food. I think she would suit being an only dog as she loves her fuss and attention! Penny is not good with cats or small fluffy dogs unfortunately.
She is currently being fostered but a permanent home is desperately required as she longs to be someone's special girl once again.

We heard that Penny was taken to the vets this morning as she was coughing. She was found to have fluid on the lungs and pneumonia. Whilst at the vets she unfortunately suffered a heart attack and slipped away.......
Bless you Penny Girl. I have many memories of you and your mum in your first home and was heartbroken for you when your mum became so poorly and couldn't keep you and your greyhound brothers and sisters, Prince, Holly and Angel. You were loved and pampered in your second home and I'm glad I got to cuddle you once in a while when I delivered your food. Special girl - I've had a few tears today for you but know you are running free. Lots of love from Auntie Ruth xxxxxxx

i have just sent you a cuddle as you look so sweet on the sofa, i often wish i would have rubber walls in my house so that i could take all of your lovely lonely hounds but alas you'll have to wait a little while longer for your dream home to come along...it'll happen one day soon. xxxx

I love to check out the RGT websites and see what great work you are doing. We have a greyhound from the nottingham branch and he's the best ever. Such a sweetie. Would dearly love another one, saw Penny and had to have a look so checked out her family tree and guess what they both have the same dad!! How spooky is that? Hope she finds a new home soon, she looks like a lovely, lovely pooch!!! P.S, our Sid's racing name was Airmount Giggs.
