Hurray for Mikey. Today at the dog show he came 2nd with the most appealing eyes. So proud of him ?

Mikey is with me as foster. He's à lovely boy, walks well on lead, clean in house, sleeps through the night. Mikey has started to play, lovely to see.
His leg is alot better.
Someone is going to be very lucky to have such a funny lovable boy that gives lots of kisses. ????????

Our lovely Mikey R has been fostered while he recovers from the infection in his paw. He had to have X-rays today so had another long day at the vets with no breakfast! We are very grateful to Caroline for taking him home. Xxx Sending Mikey my cuddle tonight. Xxx

Mikey's paw was a little less swollen today but it still looks sore. We are desperate to find a forever home for him. He is such a lovely lad. Sure there must be a sofa with his name on it....it would be great if he and kennel mate lady could go home together but we realise this may not be possible. Xxx

It's just not been a good week for our lovley Mikey R...Tuesday he was neutered and had lots of teeth removed and today he has an infection in his paw! He is a really wonderful lad who needs a wonderful home where he can get lots of TLC. He would be a fabulous lad to have around, his happy disposition and love of life would certainly brighten your day. To have double the joy, why not take his lovely kenenel mate , Lady too! :)) Sending him my cuddle tonight. Xxx

Lots of gentle hugs for Mikey tonight. He was neutered today and also had to have quite a lot of teeth removed. He was a very good boy at the vets and met a Dachshund puppy outside, he only looked at her trying to decide what she was and he was quite surprised when she barked at him! :) Xxx

I admit I was one of those who doubted Mikey would stay in Ruth's newly constructed run! :)) but he was such a good boy and loved it! His favourite visitor Jill got in with him and they both snuggled up for a snooze in the sunshine. Xxx

i do hope Mikey finds his forever home soon. He would be such a happy lad to have around and in return would give lots and lots of love...Xxx

I took Mikey to Elmdon Park today. Before we could leave though, he had to make sure that I was thoroughly clean by licking each bit of skin he could get to! He was in one of the runs with Lady and someone had to come on to hold Lady, as she too just wanted lots of fuss and it was making it impossible to lead Mikey up. Once we set off, he maintained a good pace and enjoyed having a good look around. He met larger dogs (Golden retriever and Collie) with no issues, but he was a little less sure of smaller ones. He met a few smaller dogs, but did lunge at them when they moved away. I am hoping that it was more curiosity than anything else, as when one of these dogs (Chihuahua sized) tried to sniff his bum, he stood stock still with neck craned around looking at it. I'm not entirely sure he knew what to do!! He just needs a few more trips to the park to understand his new life a bit better. Whoever this boy picks will be very lucky x

Oh, I do so hope some kind person will offer Mikey and Lady a home together. He was such a sweet happy boy when we saw him on Sunday, and I almost got licked within an inch of my life every time I went past his run. Lady lay watching him with a look of adoration. Having had 4 Grey's at one time I think this 6-year-old duo would be a joy . Life begins at forty they say for us humans and I think age 6 for greyhounds is the same. Young enough to still adapt to change but like 40 yr olds, old enough to appreciate a good home lol and life certainly began anew when they arrived at Daybreaks. Fingers crossed x

Met super kissy Mikey today along with Lady. Mikey is such a friendly happy boy. He walks beautifully on the lead. Lovely boy. Hope he and Lady can find a home together, they are such a lovely couple. Xxxx

What a sweet happy boy Mikey is, and his soulmate Molly is a sweetie. I would have taken them home in a heartbeat, but Finn is 9 and I don't think 2 more plus Warrior would have been fair to him in one go ! I pray they will find a home together, Surely someone wants a "ready-made" family to support each other? fingers crossed xx
