Georgie's lovely owner called today to say her beautiful girl has gone to Rainbow Bridge. She wanted me to tell everyone what a wonderful girl she was. When Marjorie lost her Husband John, it was Georgie who was there for her. She says she was no trouble at all, lovely in the house and a pleasure to walk. Georgie was totally spoilt! She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her. Sending lots of love to Marjorie and her family at this sad time. God Bless his Angel, Georgie Girl. Xxx

Dear Georgie Girl ....now Lady. A few of us from training went today to say our goodbyes to your first mum Maggie. There was Julie our leader, me & Paul (Lola & Lena's servants), Mel (Joe's mum) and Jayne (Tess's mum). It was sad of course but lovely too, especially because your photo was with her during the service. Rebecca the lovely lurcher-owning and greyhound-loving vicar from Immanuel Church took the service and made it very special. I hope you are being a good girl and remember that your first mum will always be smiling down on you. xxxx

I spoke to Sarah maggys daughter , she would like to thank everyone for there kind words, and for finding Georgie a perfect home. Sarah has told her mum that Georgie has been homed, hope she understands, I'm sure she would be happy for Georgie.thank you again to her new family xxx

Met Georgie girl for the first time today and fell in love with her. She is an absolute beaut, very graceful, gentle with food and well, just a poppet. Lets find this wonderful girl the home she so richly deserves.

Georgie girl is a very special girl, she is everything that you would want from a greyhound ,loving ,clean,well mannered,gets on with other breeds as well as greyhounds , walks beautifully on the lead and looks in tip top condition. Georgie- girl and Maggie have been regulars at Saturday training. Georgie girl is a lovely little black .Maggie is devoted to her and has trained her to the point where she can be let off the lead and is much happier around her greyhound friends and other breeds.She is a much loved little girl and I hope another wonderful home is just around the corner as this will give Maggie peace of mind.Thanks to Caroline for fostering Georgie girl and sending our thoughts and love to Maggie and her family. We have had the very sad news that Georgie Girl's mum is seriously ill and therefore is unable to keep her any more. She is going to be fostered by Caroline from Saturday and she will be taking her to the roadshow to try and find her a home. If you could possibly offer this beautiful little girl a home, please let me know. Thinking of Maggie through this awful time and sending strength and much love to her x

I am absolutely saddened to hear that Tim, Georgie Girls owner, sadly passed away from a brain tumour. I know Georgie Girl will be missing Tim very much as she was such a daddy's girl but know she is already giving her mum much needed comfort. I am so sorry for you Maggie. i am so happy that lady/georgie girl has now got a home of her own, she is a gorgeous little thing and hopefully will give her new family a lot of love and fun.

Lady is coming to live with us and we are looking forward to her becoming part of the family. She has met Benjy also a rescue and they seemed to get on fine. Benjy is very tolerant and a really funny ha-ha dog, we are sure they will gel very well. Incidentally we are renaming Lady to Georgie Girl.

If Lady is anything like Lass, she will make a wonderful pet. We took Lass home on Sunday, she settled in well and only seemingly needs to be shown something once. She quickly learnt where to go to the toilet and we only had one accident! We only wish we could have taken them both...I am sure Lady will find a lovely home very soon. xxx

oh poor little Lady she is bound to be very sad at not having a home yet, she is such a lovely girl so hopefully somebody will give her a home soon. xxx

Poor Lady, she saw her sister and kennel mate get homed today...... she was reserved but is now available again. We are desperate for this playful little girl to find a home.

I just loved this cheeky girl, very playful and bouncy, so cute just like a puppy. My son would love this girl at home. What a shame she cant live with a cat!!!!

Lass and Lady were seperated as Lass was speyed Monday and Lady yesterday. They both were quite unhappy even tho we paired them up with another at the kennels. I therefore brought them both home to post op recover together - they are happy again.....

Just wondered has Lady been separated from Lass yet ? Lady was very cute and we saw her on Sunday, but I am worried in case she misses Lass when they are apart.

It was good to see you again today, and to meet some of the greyhounds that you have there. There are some lovely dogs there, but we are happy to wait until the right dog comes along to fit in with our family. You will have to let us know how Lady gets on as you get to know her character a little bit more. Thanks for your help.

Lady and Lass are beautiful - so pretty and dainty. I expect they are sisters with similar names and same date of birth? They certainly look alike! Both desperate for a bit of fuss but gentle with it - gorgeous!
