I am over the moon that Quivers today finally found her forever home. She was dropped off at our house by Rob who has been fostering her for many months.
She got on well with her new greyhound sister and also met the baby and I think we reacted more when baby started crying!
I am so grateful to Rob who owns Rory for looking after her and Andy who owns Fred and Deb who owns Peg who also opened their homes for her and fostered her. She originally arrived at Daybreaks November 2021 so has been waiting a long time for her forever home. X

Quivers has been unreserved as she has become quite reactive to other dogs out on her walks however she has been brilliant in the house on foster with another dog! If you would like to view Quivers or would like more information about her please give us a call.

I’m glad to see Quivers has gone out to foster. I met her on Wednesday when Ebony had her nails trimmed. She was so stressed. Such a pretty little girl too ;-))

This kind sweet Girl is a dream ??
We had Quivers over night Saturday.
She was a very good girl, she was so happy and loved a fuss, she loved our Grey Sam and they shared the space of our home well.
We went for a walk and she was good on the lead and enjoyed meeting other dogs.
She ate her food well and drank plenty of water too.
She goes out in the garden to toilet on command, she had a little accident but was at the back door and we didn’t get the message quick enough ????
She took a while to settle at night but did sleep downstairs better on a folded up quilt and cosy blanket.
Quivers is a beautiful girl loving and so affectionate, she got on well with Sam and I think she would be great as a single dog or with others as she likes all the fuss but good at sharing too.
She doesn’t mind being picked up to get in cars and even carried up stairs lol
She will make someone a wonderful loving pet

Ah Quivers, you are adorable and it has been sad to see you so fed up & shut down in kennels. Obviously you like being out in the big, wide world with lots of company and things going on. Enjoy your overnight stay sweetheart. xx

Quivers was collected this morning for a day out - but it appears she is very much enjoying herself so she is coming back tomorrow lunchtime. She has been incredibly withdrawn in the kennels but when out, she is a very happy little lass.

Thanks so much to Katarina and her family for taking Quivers out this afternoon. She really has been very down this week and needed cheering up. She loved going out and was a much happier girl when she came back. She is a super little girl, hoping she will be in her forever home very soon. Xxxx

As Quivers was a little bit subdued in the kennels, we decided to take her to the park for a change of scenery. She was a little reluctant to get into the car at first, but once in settled as soon as we set off and enjoyed looking out of the window. Once we got to the park, she jumped out and was keen to go and explore. She met a few other breeds (big and small) and felt comfortable enough to go and say hello. She was happy to be around people and children and enjoyed all of the sights and sounds of the park- even a running squirrel didn’t phase her and there was no sign of a chase instinct. She walked beautifully on her lead and grew in confidence as the walk progressed. Quivers was much happier when we got back to the kennels and enjoys socialising with others. We look forward to taking her out again and we just know that she will find her forever home soon.
