Max came with me today to Elmdon Park. He was absolutely perfect. He walked steadily, always on a loose lead. We met lots of dogs in the park and he wasn't bothered by any of them. At one point we was surrounded by about half a dozen small dogs and he completely ignored them. He's a stunning colour and would make a very handsome addition to any family. Good luck Max xx

This handsome boy melts your heart. He walked well on the lead with the other dogs today. It's almost as if he gains confidence from their presence. Lots of special cuddles Max xxxxx

FOSTER/PERMANENT HOME DESPERATELY NEEDED
This is Max. An absolutely gorgeous boy who is good with other breeds. He was in a home for a short while but returned because of toileting issues. He is a sensitive boy who has been coming home with me since his return. He needs a quiet home and good routine.
He will be back at the kennels from tomorrow as I’ll be away which I feel would be detrimental to the confidence he has been building.
Can you offer to foster him please? If you can please call the kennels x

Max is such a lovely lad and it's great to see how much confiedence he has gained since staying with Ruth and her dogs. It's true he and Belle do make a very handsome couple! Xxx

I have added a photo of Max on his morning walk today. Unfortunately it won't let me rotate it!!!

I have been taking this very very special boy home since he was returned. He was returned because of constant toileting in the house.

To start with, all I can say is it is very good we have flag stone flooring and washable mats in our cottage! However he has come on in leaps and bounds and is gaining great confidence.

I put up a crate behind our sofa and the door is always open and quite often he takes himself in there and roaches - legs in the air. He has started to show interest with toys too! He comes upstairs at night and sleeps on the floor next to our bed.

He rarely has accidents and he is becoming less jumpy with noises and walks really well on the lead, just stopping to look around once in a while.

He thrives with the company of my three and I am currently looking after Belle for Alan (one of our volunteers) and they are pretty inseparable! If only he had room for an extra!....... :-)

Max spent the day in the office, venturing out every now and again to see what was going on. :) He did have one little accident but no worries, Declan very kindly mopped the floor while he had a potter around the kennels. :)) Our lovely Alex and his sister Flo came for a visit this afternoon. :). Max was very interested in meeting them and came out from his bed to say Hello :)) Xxx

Poor little lamb, I hope Max soon finds himself another lovely home, I'm upset to think he is scared bless him xx
