Fred

male, 5 years old, Black

Updated: Monday 01 Jan

Some vital stats!
He measures 27 inches to the top of his back and would measure in at wearing a 26 sized coat. Although tall he is not big in size!
He currently weighs 32KG – we feel that he is at his recommended weight:

He retired due to a broken hock (leg) 22/11/21 which has been repaired but can only do short walks at the moment.
He is very happy and quite inquisitive.
He met Pod who is a Parsons Jack Russell and was good around him.

Fred has had 0 cuddles today (7 all together).
If you register or login, you can give him a cuddle too!

Well…. Fred isn’t impressed with me! No breakfast this morning and after a trip in the car, the next thing he remembers is waking up with bits missing!!!!! Sorry Fred but neutering is the best thing to not only stop unwanted pups in the world when there are enough beautiful greyhounds already for us to rehome along with massively reducing his risk of testicular cancer in later life. I’m sure with bribery with some chicken I’ve bought him I will be forgiven!

Fred is an amazing lad! He is so friendly and loves a cuddle. He has been staying with Ruth as he was quite stressed when he arrived. He had a lovely time at the park. Thanks so much to Norman for taking him out. Xxx

Fred enjoyed his first visit to Brueton Park today. He loved the car that much he was laid out in the back and didn't want to move when we arrived at the park !!
After persuasion he jumped out and enjoyed his walk taking in all the sights...ducks...birds... small fluffy dogs etc with no problems. He is very friendly towards other dogs.
A lad with a lovely manner who showed no signs of any problems due to his broken hock. He'll be a fantastic addition to any home.
