It was Sammy's turn to be neutered today. He was very sleepy when he got back to the kennels this afternoon. Xxx He did manage to eat his dinner and then we tucked him up in bed. He is such a sweet lad. All the dogs have got fleeces on tonight...have just checked the cameras and they all look comfortable, relaxed and warm. :))

Sammy is a very loving boy. He loves cuddles I always enjoy spending time with him. He is going to make a wonderful pet xx

We put Sammy in the kitchen run this morning to have his breakfast. There were several boxes of toys in there too and he decided to unpack them all while waiting for his meal to arrive! He was especially interested in those that squeaked! He had a great fun! It was a very noisy breakfast time! :)) His tum is a lot better and he is a happy lad! Xxx

Sammy really seems to enjoy his special diet food - he licks the bowl clean! Let's hope it does the trick and settles his poorly tummy soon, he is such a lovely boy. x

Poor Sammy, sorry to hear you haven't been well with a poorly tum. You are my current favourite at Daybreaks. I know the vets have suggested some special food for you but I think my prescription is better. A forever home to be yours asap along with plenty of TLC. You get my cuddle again today, get well soon supa Sammy xx

Sammy is such a friendly lad. He met Jag today when he came in to have his nails clipped. Sammy was in one of the runs and gave him such a waggy tail and a kiss on his head! Xxx

Sammy enjoyed some time out in the feeding run this afternoon, chilling out on a raised bed and snoozing in the sun. Such a lovely boy. xx

Sammy is the only boy at the kennels at the moment. He is a super big boy who walks well and has a lovely disposition. Cuddles for this lovely boy xxx

Sammy came with me to Bruten Park today. He is a really happy boy, who trots beautifully. He travelled well in the car, although he needed a hand getting in. He behaved impeccably in the park and demonstrated only positive interest on other dogs. Once we had walked through the park, he came in a few shops with me and waited patiently whilst made my selections. After that we walked to the train station to meet my husband off the train. He took all of these experiences in his stride and was a pleasure to take out. Here's hoping that he doesn't have to wait long for his new home xx

Sammy paid his first visit to Elmdon Park today.
He is a very friendly lad who loves meeting people.
He had no problems when meeting several small dogs
He made himself comfortable in the car and enjoyed the journey. Slightly keen on the lead that was probably due to it being a first time park visit.
He really is a great lad who deserves to find his loving home as soon as possible.

Wow! Sammy is incredibly handsome and very tall! We didn't get chance to check all his vital statistics this afternoon but will do as soon as we can. Just beautiful! Thanks so much to Lucy for taking the fab photos of him. :) Xxx
