My cuddle goes to Andy tonight! What a clever boy for making sure you made your Foster family fall head over heals in love with you! :)) What a super home you have found yourself :)) Lots of love to you all. Kate Xxx

The reason I never volunteered to foster was because I thought I'd be rubbish at it. It turns out I was right. We are adopting Andy!

What can I say when he came to stay I repeatedly said he wasn't stopping it was temporary but I totally fell in love with him. He is such a mommies boy. He is my shadow, we have supported him in learning to live in a home and he has slotted right into ours. When he came back from the vets Spirit and Star were more happy to see him than me so how could I possibly let him go somewhere else? I've never even thought of having another dog. I knew when I had Spirit I wanted him to have company but we were great as we were but now we are amazing with Andy xx

I saw Andy on Sunday, thanks so very much to Steph (I find it difficult to refer to you as Witchy)!! He was so happy and waggy, he is obviously feeling so much better. So sad his viewing didn't materialise. I know if circumstances were different he would stay where he is. X

So Andy has been at home with me for a week. He is finding his feet and his cheeky, loving personality is coming out. He is definitely a foody and we are working on his manners around us and our two greys. He is enjoying playing with toys and the initial resource guarding seems to have sorted itself out. He has taught himself to do stairs as he likes to be close, so we will be looking at being a little more independent. At the moment he is sleeping next to my bed with one of our greys. He is still loving all the fuss and cuddles he can get. I think he is becoming more confident with our two. He knows exactly what a his lead is for and gets very excited, obviously he is not currently allowed on walks because his foot but hopefully next week. He has met my neighbours guide dog and did not react, neither did he react to a Jack Russell barking at him in the vets. He does seem to have a high prey drive, interested in cats and squirrels outside the window. He continues to respond well to praise. He is clean and dry in the house. Andy is totally adorable and would be amazing in his forever home

Andy is so adorable, still clearly uncomfortable with his paw. He is a complete cuddle monster, loves being cuddled and stroked, if you're doing either of these he will put his head or paw on you to be close. He was clean and dry last night and responds well to praise, chicken and ham. Andy would be a wonderful addition to any family, he's gorgeous xx

Andy had a trip to the vet this morning. He has been limping quite badly for the last couple of days. :(( The vet found he has an infection in one of his pads. He also discovered Andy had a problem with his mouth, this was sorted and he had a dental...to finish off his day he was also Neutered!! Poor lad. Xxx Thanks so much to Shirley and Richard for taking him at short notice to the vets. Xxx Ruth collected him and took him home. :)) She sent a photo of him this evening sharing a bed with Alex. :)) wishing him a speedy recovery. Xxx

Andy is a very handsome lad! He was quite stressed when he arrived yesterday. :(As it was lovely and warm Ruth and Sam gave him a bath in one of the runs. Hoping he will soon start to relax. Xxx
