Lovely update on Emily, such a cute little face xxxxx

Hello All,
Emily has been with us for nearly a month now and so far has been settling in very well.
She's get's along great with her big brother Peppie, although she is a bit bossy towards him at times.
Emily loves going out for walks and has been to lots of places including Sutton Park, Shugborough Hall and Walsall Arboretum.
She loves food and treats and is just a gorgeous, fussy little Racoon faced treasure!
We feel really lucky to have been able to re-home her and look forward to continuing to look after her.

Does Christina get on with other greyhounds?

Took the lovely Christina out to Bruton Park. She happily got into the car and settled nicely and was excited to reach the park. Initially, she was eager to play with other dogs that reacted to her but throughout the walk became more settled and walked past the other dogs as if they weren’t there. Christina was happy to meet other people and walked well on a loose lead. After the park, we ventured into the town centre, which was busier. Again she took everything in her stride and seemed quite comfortable. We took her into a few shops and she wasn’t too keen on stairs but absolutely loved the lift in mountain warehouse. She was fascinated by the mirrors and overall enjoyed all these new experiences. Such a shame that she keeps getting overlooked because of her grey face- I can assure you that she has plenty of energy and love to give. We look forward to taking her out again xx

Cristina didn't seem too bothered by the hot weather, she took it all in her stride. :)) She also liked playing with the toys, her favourite was the woolly doll, although she was rather heavy after soaking in the pool for some time and was not that easy to throw around! Xxx

Cristina will be 6 on 1st August, how fantastic would it be that she got her forever home for her birthday? Please don't overlook her because she looks older than her years. X

Please prospective owners do not be put off by the grey face being a sign of age it is not I have one who is not yet three, looks can be deceptive at 6 Christina has a lot of fun and enjoyment to give all she needs is a chance, do not just walk pass her you will be missing a gem!!!

Really hope she finds her forever home soon. All the other doggys are coming and going and would love for her to find an amazing home, worth the wait!

Oh will someone please give this girl a sofa if her own I just love the grey face. If my house was not full with two hounds including diva dog Penny I would be very tempted.

Cristina really loves having underneath her chin rubbed. I think she will be a lovely cuddle monster when she finds her forever home. Xxxxx

Norman took Cristina for her first trip to the park on Tuesday. She was very good in the car. When she arrived at the park she was very excited with all the new sights and sounds. She became more relaxed after she had been there a while and had a great time. :)) Thanks so much to Norman for giving her a break from the kennels for an hour or so. :) Xxx

I walked Cristina and Marina together today. They were absolutely wonderful. I love Cristina's gorgeous frosty face. She is a lovely little lady. Xx

Cristina was not impressed at not being able to go out for walks today! She spent lots of time in the feeding run alternating between reclining in the sunshine, and having a mad play with toys, managing to "dedd" 2 of them!!!

She is such a cheeky, lively girl and is not letting recuperating from an operation slow her down!! xx

I took Cristina off to the vets first thing this morning for her Neutering operation. She had a short walk before going into the vets, she was so excited to be out and about! :) She was happy to go into the vets where she met a very fluffy collie dog. After initially having a bark at him, she realised he was another dog, just a little more hairy than she was, she was fine. :)))
Ruth collected her tonight and took him home for a little extra love and attention. Xxx

A big cuddle for Cristina tonight. She maybe one of our older current residents but she is a very happy, lively girl. She loves going for a walk and is a little ray of sunshine! Xxx

Don't let her age or grey face fool you - this little lady is a real live wire and is so sweet. She has managed to bash her waggy tail today, but fortunately it doesn't look too bad. x
