I went to visit the gorgeous Archie in his new home in Malvern, three weeks after his adoption - he is SO HAPPY! He is the picture of health and enjoying his 4 walks a day and the house has toys everywhere! I couldn't be happier for him!

It's brilliant to hear Archie is getting on well in his new home! He is a super little lad! :)) Xxx

I had a lovely telephone call today to update me on how Archie is doing, one week into his retirement home!
He is going on 4 walks a day, has made friends with the sheep and he has a great routine - especially tummy tickles each morning! I am over the moon that he has settled so well, after he spent so long here being overlooked at Daybreaks. Well done Archie! So proud of you x

Finally! The gorgeous Zavi has waited long enough and this morning he has been reserved. I am taking him to his fabulous new home in Malvern on Wednesday. This has made my day x

Our gorgeous little Zavi had some bike training earlier this week. He is quite reactive when a bicycle passes him out on a walk. Erik came along to the kennels to help. Ruth was the cyclist! He did really well and was much calmer at the end of the session. He is a very inquisitive boy and after his training he was very interested in watching Richard and Declan working in the sand run. :)) He is also great at telling the time, he knows when it's time for breakfast, walks and dinner and is very keen to tell you! :)) He does have a bit of a girly bark. :)) He would be a great friend and companion and would love to join in every family activity. :) Hoping someone will soon fall for our special boy. Xxx

I can't help but love this lad for his clumsy quirky ways. He always puts a smile on our faces. There will never be a dull moment for the family who adopt this boy, I hope they come soon for him, he has lots of love to give and bags of fun xx

Zavi donated to the Pet Blood Bank this afternoon. The Nurses loved him despite him managing to knock all the treats onto the floor and counter surfing sending things flying everywhere! He was a good boy and did lie still long enough for his donation to be taken. Bless him, well done Zavi! :)) Xxx

Yes, he is a little "potty" and will need lots of time and patience to help him understand what living in a home environment is all about. In return you will get a happy, exuberant young man with lots of love to give and who will probably change your life forever! :))) Xxx

I took Zavi out today. He is very excited when being leaded up for his walk and needs firm control but he is such a character. Walking on a short lead he is very good, he saw a squirrel on the path ahead so up went his ears, a few firm 'leave it' and 'good boy' and he just carried on. Lovely lad xx

Thanks you so much Kitty and her family for taking Zavi on an adventure to the park today. :)) He had a fabulous time and went to bed a very tired and happy lad! He is a real character with lots of love to give. Xxx

Well done Zavi, you have a really cheeky side at the Kennels. So heartwarming to hear that you behaved so very well on your outing today. What a well behaved boy you were. You definitely need a home with a sense of humor and the time to give you all the attention you need and deserve. You certainly make us smile every day. Xx

Took the happy boy Zavi to Brueton Park today. He got into the car nicely but wasn’t too sure of it and wanted to look at every passing car. He was very excited when we got to the park and was zig-zagging to try and take in as many smells as possible. At the start he was eager to get people’s attention and to go up to other dogs but as the walk progressed he was happy to walk by my side and wasn’t even giving the other dogs a glance. He came face to face with a smaller dog and was very gentle and his tail never stopped wagging. I’m so proud of his behaviour in the park- you could definitely see improvement as he became more comfortable and relaxed with his surrounding. We look forward to taking him out again xx

Despite the hot weather Zavi was still raring to go! He has boundless energy and loves to see what's going on and who's doing what! :)) Xxx

As it was cooler this morning we were able to take the dogs for short walks. I had the pleasure of taking Zavi. :)) He is a little erratic on the lead and gives a jump every now and again...but with help he will learn. :)) Xxx He is also very scared of Motorbikes and is quite worried when they come past him. Xxx He is an extremely friendly and happy boy who is only two years old and won't be three until November, so just a big puppy who needs some help understanding the big wide world! :)) Xxx

Kate, Zavi always has a problem walking in a straight line!!

Our bouncy boy was neutered today, we are kind of hoping it might calm him down! :)) Richard collected him from the vets for us this afternoon, he was rather wobbly on his return and found walking in a straight line quite a challenge. Xxx By closing time he was much more like his usual happy self. :)) Xxx
