Fantastic news on Pan's fostering and reservation. Which will undoubtedly turn into a rehoming. Well done Pan. Such a superstar.

Our lovely Pan has been reserved today! His Foster Mom and Dad brought him to the kennels to meet a family who were very keen to be introduced to him. They fell in love with him and are hoping to take him home very soon. :)) So happy for Pan, he is a great lad. Xxx
We are so grateful to his Foster family for helping him find his forever home. Xxx

Great to hear how Pan is getting on. :)) Sounds like he is having a lovely Christmas break with you. He was a little nervous of meeting strangers at the kennels. Good to hear he soon felt relaxed with you. I guess he has been watching all the Christmas films on television! :)) Xxx

Pan has been with us on foster for a week now. He is very well behaved, very clean in the house, he hasn’t had any accidents at all. He is a strong dog and while he walks really well, he needs a firm grip on his lead because he does get excited when he sees squirrels, cats and other dogs. He is nervous about new things and new people, but he soon got to know us. He really seems to like watching the TV and he is a big softee who likes cuddles and wants to play.

Pan is such a lovely lad. I really hope he won't have to wait too much longer for his forever home. He has been waiting for quite some time now. Xxx

Pan last went to Elmdon Park 8 weeks ago and today returned for the 2nd time.
He's now been with us at Daybreaks for 10 weeks and is possibly starting to suffer with "long stay black dog syndrome ".
This would be so sad as he is an affectionate loving lad who met other breeds today without any aggression. He does get excited at the sight of other dogs running free off the lead..... but only in a "friendly let me play too"" way.
Let's hope his forever home can arrive before too long

Pan reminds me of my beloved Paddy in that he is a bit shy and slow putting himself forward to new people. I think that once he finds his forever home he will come out of his shell a bit more. I feel there is a lot of love and playfulness in him and he will settle down well given a chance. I just hope he doesn't get overlooked by prospective owners. Keeping my fingers crossed he will celebrate Christmas on a sofa with a new family xx

Pan is still waiting patiently for his forever home. Xxx He is a lovely boy, who can be a little shy meeting new people. He has settled well at the kennels and is a pleasure to look after. Xxx

As Kate has previously said Pan is a very friendly lad. Today was his first visit to Elmdon Park.
He did have to be lifted into the car but settled down well.
On arrival in the park he did get very excited and vocal at seeing other dogs running free off the lead. He did then become very strong on the lead..
As the walk progressed and he became used to the surroundings he became more settled. He met other breeds with curiosity but no aggression.
Although an affectionate friendly boy he can become quite strong on the lead if seeing other dogs running free.. Prospective adoptors should be aware of that..Hopefully that permanent home will not be too long arriving and what sometimes happens to black male dogs getting overlooked won't happen to him.

I ‘popped’ into the kennels to collect raffle prizes ready for first aid talk and ended up rehoming Pan. What a wonderful family he has found…. I’m so happy for him and I have already been sent a fabulous photo of him settled and looking very happy. XxxX
