Maddie is limping and has a small (tiny) tear on her front pad which we assume is a foreign object, glass or thorn. She isn't crying out and there is no sign of infection. She will let us soak it and inspect it with tweezers etc, although flinches if we apply too much pressure. We can't see anything but there has to be something there. Are here any tips before we resort to the vets

Fury is now Maddie, and what a Maddie she is.
She has really settled in and is living the life of reilly. She isn't keen on other dogs yet, and we had a moment with our first squirrel sighting!!

Fury was speyed yesterday and spent last night at ours. She has given me the look this morning.... 'Can I stay a few more days?'..... so guess what.....

She is a lovely looking girl and I love the hair do! Hope she finds a home soon. She is small and wouldn't take up much room. Mark said maybe next year!! x

She has been at my house this week and has learnt how to toilet outside and loves to curl up on her bed. She has been great with my 6 - apart from trying to steal their dinner - she LOVES food! However she has learnt the word 'no' and will not try to steal our food off the plates anymore!
Unfortunately I am looking after friend's dogs this weekend so have a full house and therefore took the hard decision to leave her at the kennels tonight. I am already missing her......

Thanks Ruth and Rob. Maddie is much better again. Her foot is no problem now....She was limping all Saturday afternoon after her treament, but its fine now.
