I am so broken hearted for you as I know what you have been through trying to help Dan - it has been a really tough time for you and to see your own boy suffer is heartbreaking and not having the support of your own vets.

You took the brave decision to help Dan gain his wings to fly to Rainbow Bridge and he is no longer suffering. Your heart is full of pain at the moment but the happy memories will shine through and stay in your hearts forever.

Thank you for giving Mr Dan a fabulous loving home and supporting him through so much - it is such a shame that by the time you got to see Christian, it was too late.... big hugs to you and of course Cleo who will be missing her big greyhound brother. Much love, Ruth xxxx

It has been a very sad day today within our family as Dan has left us to cross over Rainbow Bridge. He was a wonderful dog and he will be sorely missed. He gave us wonderful memories over two and half years and we hope he enjoyed his retirement with us. He had been ill for a while and is now no longer in any further pain. We hope that he is running free with the other greys as he always used to pretend to be racing in his sleep. We would like to personally thank Ruth for her support and putting us in touch with Christian who helped enourmously within his final weeks. Dan has been home now for a month, he is doing absolutely brillant!! He is learning so quick and has become very loving. He is now house trained and is excellent when out walking, though not to keen when we have to get up at 6.30am!! Thank you Ruth for letting us borrow one our your doggy dvds it was a great help and insight.

YEAH!!!! First grey to be homed from Daybreaks in 2010..... the first of many more!

Danny is a lovely cuddly boy who adores getting fuss and love. he has a gorgeous nature to go with his handsome good looks. fingers crossed santa will send you a home for x mas xxxx
