This poor boy is coming back to the kennels on Saturday 30th January due to a marriage break up. He was homed in July 2008 and has been living with cats. He goes off the lead and is housetrained and is ok to be left during the day. We hope he will not be with us too long.

Jim (Socks) has had 0 cuddles today (6 all together).
If you register or login, you can give him a cuddle too!

Well its official - he and Daisy have taken over the whole house! The cat is resigned to them being here and now sleeps on their beds with them. Can't imagine life without them now, but have to stop talking about them all the time because once I start everyone gets a "glazed" look come over them and my daughter says I am becoming obsessed. ( I think this is probably because when someone asked me how the babies were I started talking about the dogs and they were referring to my grandchildren .-Whoops!!!!)

Just had to smile about your garden!! My dogs love to run around together which is lovely to see but the lawn has now disappeared! We are now working in the garden on a area for the dogs and a lawned area for the rest of us. What you do for these doggies cus they are very very worth it.

Socks has really settled in well and is getting really playful now . He is eating well although rationed until he loses some weight. My garden resembles the somme cos he is a digger!! House is in chaos because he is the size of a horse and the cat is called socks as well so its great fun when I call the cat, oh well who wants a show home!!!! Sorry you couldnt do your jump but at least it gives a bit more time for sponsorship. xx

Quick update on socks. He's so gorgeous. My husband has made him his own special bed and we have ordered him his own personalised coat so he can be taken off the reserved list!!! Managed to get him to eat properly yesterday and he's not crying after me so much. Have discovered today that he is very partial to the sofa and he can scale the stairs like a mountain goat! He is lying on his back snoring at the moment so please tell his other mom that he is fine and will be loved.

Brought socks home on Saturday and he has made himself right at home. Went on the Sutton Park walk with his new sister Daisy and he was a real gent. What a lovely boy and so far the only problem is he wont let me out of his sight so I have slept on the sofa and we are going to build up the separation time.

He looks lovely and with his background being cat friendly and already house trained he should not have a problem to be re homed very soon, there is such a long list of cat lovers who want to adopt a cat friendly hound and he'd be perfect. good luck beautiful. xxxx
